A very large portion of the electorate keeps protesting against budget cuts of various kind. The guy calls them "ordinary people" (or ordinary taxpayers), which is too generalized and very imprecise. .

Fact is, that if you're a UK resident you're actually breaking the law by paying any taxes at the minute. Very few know this currently, but as time goes on more and more people will understand that it's their legal duty to withhold them.

Nonetheless he was living in Monaco to avoid taxation. He was more than 150 days in Germany so he was charged and taxed properly like everyone else.
