Yes there's a lot of students in band.. 130 is nothing compared to 300..my mighty raider band has student drum majors and is #1 in the RGV in Texas.. There's no excuse on how bad u r.. But u guys aren't bad :D

@thelovelybandgeek that isnt the entire show and usually during the last song of the show (which this was) there isnt much moving execpt to get us to our dance block most of the formation stuff is done during the first two songs. and yes we are a marching band...come out and see us sometime, weve improved alot and have grown to a band of 73 members with most of it being freshman so concidering that fact we are pretty freaking amazingg now!

I'm one of the trombones from that band and I'll let you know that with only 2 upperclassmen and 4 freshmen, we were not in the best form. Plus our director stresses "Balance" so if we actually tried to pull our weight, we got yelled at! It's crap arrangement to, so that didn't help.

Formations were pretty simple and generally stationary for the first part. The low brass could play much louder, and the trumpets were out of tune. A few simple adjustments and you could be really good

I don't think many people commenting on this knows quite how hard it is to synchronize well over 40 people (my band has 51)

Its much harder to do than just 4 people like in GnR

I admit, some of their players seemed a bit weak. But not a bad job in general.

WOW, this band sucks , i have noticed several things that went wrong with marching, for one when preparing to march and counting, DO NOT take your toes off the ground, or else your head will move causing unsteady air support

Secondly, why would the band sway , they easily fell off tempo and people were swaying in different directions, they should be stepping 2 small steps left and right- GOD my band director would kill me at a game if i took my toes off the ground

You people have got to seriously give this band some props. This song is hard to play in a band, much less a marching band, where you've played multiple songs already and are tired of marching around so much... I like the visuals, quite possibly the most interesting visuals I've seen from a band that size. Kudos to your band! =D I personally enjoyed this.
