I notice that the 3rd rack looks like its split down the middle. Can you lift up on piece and snap them together to make a fully enclosed basket? One of the other dishwashers I'm considering (I think its an LG) has a 3rd rack that does that, and with the amount of sippy cup lids and valves I have to deal with thanks to my kid, it almost has me sold. The Kitchenaid looks nice though. (And so quiet! My last dishwasher, a Jenn-Air, sounded like a freight train!)

love the variable motor in the kitchenaid it knows when to use more water pressure for dirty dishes and also calculates electricity and efficientley by using only they amount of electrick it needs!!!

Also buffyfoo bosch dishwashers don't have the proscrub feature which are five circled jets on the lower back wall of the dishwasher. with this feature casserole dishes and large flat pans bowls etc get faced flat upwards to the back of the dishwasher saving so much room in the bottom rack and the cleaning is out of this world love the proscrub feature. check it out kitchenaid with proscrub and you can see it work. You don't get what you pay for with a bosch and the capacity is very small!!!!!!

Don't you look on the internet or what? They have high reliability ratings, get good reviews and surely look much better than those crappy like looking Kitchenaid dishwashers. My stainless steel Bosch DW has a 41 DB noise rating and looks so much better than this poorly looking shiny thing.
ho and buffyfoo kitchenaid is far from cheap they are one of the first company's to produce the name under hobart until whirlpool took over . so they are of high quality and did you forget to mention to these people about that messy filter you have to clean every 4 months it's terrible. Bosch dishwashers also don't have the 3 tier rack system to lay your cultery spoons knives ladels spatulas flat on the third upper rack. In the bosh all the silver ware have to nestle together and get ruined.
Also buffy fooo the bottom line here with your junk of a bosch is that 1.small capacity 2. high price tag. 3.. no drying system other then condensed 4.extremely long wash times 5. cheap small 110 plastic motor 6. not enough water to clean well 7. must use jet dry or your in trouble. 8. costly repair prone product I say keep that junk and I will stay with my 2011 kitchenaid anyday bye!!!!!

I thought this was a great video, as I've been on the computer for 5 hrs looking for just the right dishwasher and all the reviews. I appreciate you taking the time to do this . just wondering... i have a european dishwasher..... not a bosch....... but what im saying is the bosch 800+ is 40 dba which is quieter than the kitchenaid, its more affordable, has better rates of reliability, and also more efficent, 7 litres of water. So kitchen aid... beat that... its impossible to beat that bosch

You fail to mention, however, how it completes the primary task of a dishwasher... actually cleaning dishes. I'm not knocking whatever dishwasher you are mentioning... I'm sure it's a good dishwasher. Myself, though... I have two Kitchenaides, though, and none have ever experienced problems. Both are so quiet you can't hear them run. But the best thing about them is how well they clean.

The commercial just tells you about what i told you in the last comment so probably it might be bad. we have a kitchenaid stove and fridge but a german dishwasher. I have never really thought about buying a kitchenaid. When it cleaned off the egg I was surprised. maybe American dishwashers aren't so bad. Would you reccommend if(when) my dishwasher breaks down? Cause it has no options and 5 cycles im not sure it sanitizes
Just stick to Bosch. Their appliances are wellknown in Europe for their performances and reliability. Bosch dishwashers are at the top. I do not find this Kitchenaide dishwasher very convincing. It looks a litlle bit cheap, shiny and all... and it definately has not the same building quality like a Bosch. And...Bosch dishwashers are not loud...mine has a 42 DB rate! They certainly look better and have great cleaning records.

They are German quality products that are wellknown here in Europe for their good overall cleaning performances and reliability. You say; "My old Bosch 51 DB..that's why I'll never buy Bosch again".Not a very smart comment, in my opinion. Nope..I'm not German. Yep...I have a one year old Bosch dishwasher. My last one (Bosch of course) lasted more than 15 years without problems. What better review can you get? Customer reviews here are mostly positive about Bosch dishwashers. Just like Siemens. For me: no Kitchenaide. We don't have them. ;-)
@Dugn8r mine are being replaced because you have to wash everything first or you can wash them afer, kitchen aid sucks and one wont enen power up. did i mention all four cords broke that hold the doors closed. they have been one pain afer the other.

Also people, get over the condensing dry option, yes you won't melt something plastic that falls on the element but exposed element dryers will dry faster (by about 1/2 hour 45 min) and better (without exception) every time.
The only thing I wish it had was a water softener, but it kills it in every other way.
Sears Canada, Was not cheap, paid 1500.00 on sale. Some dealers wanted more then 1800.00 for this model. I have had no problems as of yet and love it so far.
I was in the market for a new dishwasher and I just bought the Kude70fvss and love it! My Maytag dishwasher died on me and my GE replacement just was way to loud. This dishwasher is the best I have ever seen.

Why does the kniferack help? Because you can put knives in it. Am I missing something? If so, please be more specific in your questioning. As far as the hydro aweep arm question from TheMaytagRepairMan... I don't know. My profession isn't in sales or repairs... I deal in the insurance industry and this is only a review from personal experience, not as a professional. I can't tell you if it has or ever had a hydro sweep wash arm.

IF YOU LOOK CLOSE WHEN HE OPENS IT UP LOOK TOWARDS THE BACK YOU GET SEE THE BLUE OR RED JETS ON THE WALL THE SPRAY YOUR DISHES HORIZONTALLY ACROSS INTO THE LOAD I CAN'T BEGIN TO TELL YOU ALL HOW USEFUL THIS FEATURE IS I LOVE IT BOSCH DOES NOT OFFER THIS. WATER GOES THROUGH THE DISHLOAD AND UP NOW HOW GENIOUS IS THAT!!! GO WITH KITCHENAID

love the variable motor in the kitchenaid it knows when to use more water pressure for dirty dishes and also calculates electricity and efficientley by using only they amount of electrick it needs!!!

Mr gentlemen and buffy foo are just foolish for purchasing those junks bosch piece of garbage kitchenaid is the bomn and always will be. Also the motor in the kitchenaid is a variable motor and knows when to use more pressure in the wash arms take that to the bank junk of a bosch

dugn you FOR GOT TO TELL PEOPLE THAT THEY UPPER TO RACK SYSTEMS WHERE ADJUSTABLE ALSO OR JUST THE PIZZA RACK ON THE THIRD LEVER IT CAN GO DOWN A LITTLE LOWER BY REVERSING THE TRAYS OR A LITTLE HIGHER BY REVERSING THE TRAYS AGAIN ON THE DIFFERENT BARS ON THE THIRD RACK. AND YES HIGHJACK THIS SNOW ALL KITCHENAID DISHWASHER HAVE A GREAT HEATING DRYING SYSTEM OR YOU CAN USE AIR DRY GREAT RIGHT. stay away from bosch you will need a towel to dry your dishes no heating element or fan to dry uses the water from the wash to dry now do you call then genious or what were they thinking !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!over priced small capacity no hard food disposal other than one you have to clean with your hands every 4 months

Also buffyfoo bosch dishwashers don't have the proscrub feature which are five circled jets on the lower back wall of the dishwasher. with this feature casserole dishes and large flat pans bowls etc get faced flat upwards to the back of the dishwasher saving so much room in the bottom rack and the cleaning is out of this world love the proscrub feature. check it out kitchenaid with proscrub and you can see it work. You don't get what you pay for with a bosch and the capacity is very small!!!!!!

@penhouse861 No need to get rude to poor buffyfoo, Penthouse. Have you ever considered looking for help for your Kitchenaid addiction? Bosch dishwashers are simply the best. Don't you look on the internet or what? They have high reliability ratings, get good reviews and surely look much better than those crappy like looking Kitchenaid dishwashers. My stainless steel Bosch DW has a 41 DB noise rating and looks so much better than this poorly looking shiny thing.

ho and buffyfoo kitchenaid is far from cheap they are one of the first company's to produce the name under hobart until whirlpool took over . so they are of high quality and did you forget to mention to these people about that messy filter you have to clean every 4 months it's terrible. Bosch dishwashers also don't have the 3 tier rack system to lay your cultery spoons knives ladels spatulas flat on the third upper rack. In the bosh all the silver ware have to nestle together and get ruined.

and buffyfoo just so you know the next time you want to be rude and rant to other people this dishwasher uses very little water your right but you forgot to mention that because of this the wash arms can't rotate at the same time. their is not enough water in this machine for both wash arms to be going around together now you call that cleaning I call that a poor design and a failure when it comes to drying dishes "basically uses the heat from the cycle to dry which is so outrageous to me!!!

just wondering... i have a european dishwasher..... not a bosch....... but what im saying is the bosch 800+ is 40 dba which is quieter than the kitchenaid, its more affordable, has better rates of reliability, and also more efficent, 7 litres of water. So kitchen aid... beat that... its impossible to beat that bosch

You fail to mention, however, how it completes the primary task of a dishwasher... actually cleaning dishes. I'm not knocking whatever dishwasher you are mentioning... I'm sure it's a good dishwasher. Myself, though... I have two Kitchenaides, though, and none have ever experienced problems. Both are so quiet you can't hear them run. But the best thing about them is how well they clean.

The commercial just tells you about what i told you in the last comment so probably it might be bad. we have a kitchenaid stove and fridge but a german dishwasher. I have never really thought about buying a kitchenaid. When it cleaned off the egg I was surprised. maybe American dishwashers aren't so bad. Would you reccommend if(when) my dishwasher breaks down? Cause it has no options and 5 cycles im not sure it sanitizes

Just stick to Bosch. Their appliances are wellknown in Europe for their performances and reliability. Bosch dishwashers are at the top. I do not find this Kitchenaide dishwasher very convincing. It looks a litlle bit cheap, shiny and all... and it definately has not the same building quality like a Bosch. And...Bosch dishwashers are not loud...mine has a 42 DB rate! They certainly look better and have great cleaning records.

@Dugn8r Sorry mate, but you are not so well informed about Bosch dishwashers. They are German quality products that are wellknown here in Europe for their good overall cleaning performances and reliability. You say; "My old Bosch 51 DB..that's why I'll never buy Bosch again".Not a very smart comment, in my opinion. Nope..I'm not German. Yep...I have a one year old Bosch dishwasher. My last one (Bosch of course) lasted more than 15 years without problems. What better review can you get? Customer reviews here are mostly positive about Bosch dishwashers. Just like Siemens. For me: no Kitchenaide. We don't have them. ;-)

@Dugn8r mine are being replaced because you have to wash everything first or you can wash them afer, kitchen aid sucks and one wont enen power up. did i mention all four cords broke that hold the doors closed. they have been one pain afer the other.

Also people, get over the condensing dry option, yes you won't melt something plastic that falls on the element but exposed element dryers will dry faster (by about 1/2 hour 45 min) and better (without exception) every time.
The only thing I wish it had was a water softener, but it kills it in every other way.

Sears Canada, Was not cheap, paid 1500.00 on sale. Some dealers wanted more then 1800.00 for this model. I have had no problems as of yet and love it so far.

I was in the market for a new dishwasher and I just bought the Kude70fvss and love it! My Maytag dishwasher died on me and my GE replacement just was way to loud. This dishwasher is the best I have ever seen.

Proscrub is a great feature and love all the racks.

Why does the kniferack help? Because you can put knives in it. Am I missing something? If so, please be more specific in your questioning. As far as the hydro aweep arm question from TheMaytagRepairMan... I don't know. My profession isn't in sales or repairs... I deal in the insurance industry and this is only a review from personal experience, not as a professional. I can't tell you if it has or ever had a hydro sweep wash arm.
