I went to the website and it looks like its only in Austin which is a shame
My own mother used to sing and dance with me
and I treasure those memories. Im embarrassed to say I have more a tendency to put in a video tape of winnie the pooh than create my own music and I was inspired watching this. I became determined to honor my mothers memory with me by making music with my own child
being a single parent with insecure musical tendencies, this looks wonderful.
I wish every YMCA had this program going, I would enroll in a heartbeat. As it is the only singing we do is at birthday parties and ocassional tv commerical and I would love to learn how to create music with my child
Im in LA, if anyone knows of a program like this in my area please send me an message letting me know. I agree, I hope classes like these become available in more places
I have 2 children who love to dance and sing but since they have been going to public school they have become creatively withdrawn.
Alternaitive schooling is not affordable
I hope this program grows stronger and stronger so more familys can have access to it, in every Ymca would be grand brillent to include the elders , too much age seragation in our culture
Keep up the good vibes, and hopefull we will be hearing about this program growing larger

if you go to the bottom of the site
thirdcoastschool dotcom
on the bottom left there is a music together national site
and that will show you the closest classes in your area
if there are not any it gives info on how you can create one
these classes are not associated with Ymca
it was just hosts a class
