  • now make it wireless!!!

  • What is robotC ?

  • Is robotC hard?

  • use a gyroscopic sensor for better detection

  • que chafa solo tomaste el sensor para cuando el robot choca con algo lo pusiste en una vara mas larga y la apretaste

  • how do you make a controoler for the nxt

  • AWESOME, really, this could mark a new stage in sea/space and other dangerous places explorations. Nice work =)

  • Joey was already taken :)

why don' t you just say sikopi?

  • wich program?

  • awesome

  • nice one

  • very nice work you done there :)

  • wowza

  • you should really put that on nxtlog

  • does it contain parts to build with or is it only the motors and transponder thingy??? and can one motor go reverse and forward or do you need 2 for that plz answer

  • Nice!!

  • sweet

  • lol where can u buy that sensor???

  • Lego shop @ home, perhaps?

  • whoa!

  • wie geil is en das man sau geile technick respeckt

  • wow!!!!!

  • COOL

  • Goodness!!!! Thats SO cool!!

  • Could you make that into a tutorial?

That was beautiful, I'm new and have been contemplating a similar fate with my nxt's.

    Do you c#?

  • cool

  • thats sooooooooooooooooooooo cool!

  • this is fucking nice

  • I LOVE THE GORILLAZ!

  • Is it real????

  • i think so.

  • ya, i saw products online sensors, mindsensors, ect.

  • Thats Realy Nice! Good Work!

  • Thats Sick!

  • mad, last time i checked lego was about, making little stationary buildings with funny yellow bastards inside. Come along a bit hasn't it. cool arm

  • lol

  • I mean really my grandpa always says, "Ehh sunny wacha got there?"

I'm like, "Why this is the new NXT set for Lego"

and he says, "O, I remember when I used to play with legos all you could do was set em up and use ur imagination... but that there is innnnnnncredable how do them people make things move?" and I explain everything then he just looks at me with his jaw open.

  • wow!!!:)

  • Um...The simplicity of the act itself is irrelevant. The creativity and thought that went into programing something that would detect the motion and translate it into movement is impressive. Especially for someone who is most likely not a professional.

  • man, this is so cool!

  • seems awesome!

  • can you post the program?

  • have u tried doing it with the lego compas and accelaromoter(100% lego)

  • this is a NXT compass and accelerometer - from mind sensors

  • sweet!

  • there wasnt any radio comunication, the "joystick" with compass and other sensors was connected direct to the nxt. Why did u write "LEGO NXT Wii-mote with Mindsensors..."

  • The main difference between a wiimote and other joysticks and controllers is that is contains acceleration sensors that can detect tilt - which is what this remote does too.

  • aeth-"he looks like hes old enough to have a job", at least his hand does lol =D

  • lol that dude said he looks old just by the why his hands look!!! ahha

  • coolll!!!!

  • thats cool u should make a whole robot and make a suit of that stuff that would be bad ass but a crap load of money any ways seet vid also arent u able to just rewire an actual wii-mote and use that or no

  • OH MY GOD! This is friggin sweet! Where did you get the idea? And the money? XD

  • he looks like hes old enough have a job

  • COOL

  • wickd

  • A genius! 8D

  • man, that's just awesome!. Nice work!

  • maan cool but where do you ge the acceleration

is that the chip panel you show in the beginning?

  • do you have to make that robot arm with controller with 2 bricks or just 1?

Please send message i wont check this vid again.

  • it'd be cool if a glovePIE was made to control this with a wiimote. can you send commands to it from your computer?

  • Yes - you can control the Lego NXT via bluetooth or USB

  • cool, I thought so. I should get an NXT!

  • nice :D

  • Wow that was preaty sweet... how fast can the arm move???

  • mmm, didn't knew they had such sensors, does this means a self-balancing legobot can be made easily?

  • I mean, a self-balancing bot that uses accelerometers/gyros to know which way is up instead of other types of mechanical or optical sensors closer to how Segway works)

  • Yes - there are plenty of examples of Lego Segways. These use gyros or distance sensors. Do a search on NXTWay.

  • right... now where's your real hand?

  • cool

  • wow, must have taken some time

  • MY god this rox0rz

  • oh my god.awesome...

  • This is so f**king cool!!!

  • nice done man.

  • nice

  • TENTE was much better than LEGO.

  • cool man

  • slow

  • Robots arent to fast

  • that is sick! if anyone calls u a geek kick em in the balls thats sweet

  • nice

  • GORILLAZ ROCK!!!

  • that would be nice to have no my milling machines.

  • WOW!! nice work!

  • very cool

  • nice done

i want to have a compasssensort to but is expensive

  • awesome...hey, whats the song???

  • Gorillaz, Dirty Harry.

  • have you got insroctions

  • where do you get the bit that senses movement the accellorometer or something

  • mindsensors - there is a digital compass and a 3 axis accelerometer. The accelerometer can also measure tilt in the x,y & z planes.

  • Good but why not just use a real wiimote and GLOVEPI. if you create and upload a oparating system to the WIMOTE you can even map the signals. i used a PUMA 760 robot and a wimote and made the puma follow the wimote it was fun

  • Sure you can buy a wii-mote - but that kinda defeats the point. A wii-mote doesn't have a compass either so how can it detect turning on the spot?

  • infrared sensors ...

  • those legos cost 250 dollars dnt they

  • You can get a box for a little as $190 in some places

  • cool

  • would of been cooler if you could of done it faster a second time but still sweet

  • what would be really cool is if you could make a GLOVE that controled the arm. i no it would be near to impossible but it would be twice the fun!

  • awesome and also you can get alot of money selling this invention!!

  • looks hard to control but amasing nicely done

  • actually not hard at all. I think a direct control robot would be fun - tilt/heading = absloute position. There's alot you can do with the accleration & compass sensors combined. Its a shame they don't some as one unit.
