I remember on the original FF7 that in the presidents room after the president dies Tifa points out that "only Sephiroth can use that sword". Is there some sort of legacy or storyline behind Masamune as well? Kind of like the buster sword.

Well for one, the version I saw had Cloud stabbed between the right chest and the shoulder and then cloud took out and snap it to the rock behind him and then straight off he said "You just don't get it do you?" and then do an Omnislash right afterwords but it was shorter and Sephiroth didn't have a wing out yet... Did I saw a cut version? Is this an Uncut verion? Director's cut? What is it?
Idc what anyone says, i still like the original version. Jsut memories helped cloud out. yes i do like the addition of blood to it, but if you ask me original was better.

When you see those energy beams comming out of shinra's builings that was Vincent either after he defeats Omega or about to. So ya Vincent has a huge impact in final fantasy 7 too]

The complete version of this fight was SOO MUCH BETTER than the original. I also love that you added "The Price of Freedom" during that scene with Zack. It made me a little teary and fit perfectly.

@diabaloth when i saw it for the 1st time in the dvd version i was impressed, now seeing that one it blew off my mind, and that zack and cloud part couldnt fit better
By the way diabloth is correct. Cloud was probably thought of first however zack is the main hero. If you play crisis core or ff7 over again you'll realize that cloud was basically living zacks life. You'll need to read up on the situation it's too much detail and I'm too lazy to type it all :p. Zack sacrificed hisself to save cloud by the way. I enjoy both characters equally as much though.
Cloud defeated sephiroth twice before. Kadaj yazoo and Loz are remnants of sephiroth who are out to get jenova cells(mother). Doing so allowed them to bring sephiroth back.
@GreatDestructo I've never played ff 7 nor have I ever even watched advent children, but I think Kadaj Yazoo and Loz were just remnants of Sephiroth....I think.

giggles....just wanted to say, I was almost taken back for a moment, thinking..."wait, is this my version?" lol...because when you rewound it...lol, it was right when I ALWAYS rewind it too! (except I usually go back to Sephy's attack right before when he runs at him. By the way diabloth is correct. Cloud was probably thought of first however zack is the main hero. If you play crisis core or ff7 over again you'll realize that cloud was basically living zacks life. You'll need to read up on the situation it's too much detail and I'm too lazy to type it all :p. Zack sacrificed hisself to save cloud by the way. I enjoy both characters equally as much though.

Cloud defeated sephiroth twice before. Kadaj yazoo and Loz are remnants of sephiroth who are out to get jenova cells(mother). Doing so allowed them to bring sephiroth back.

@diabaloth i actually prefer the original fight scene too, this ones got a chessey inspirational flash back with zack, and i hate zack almost has no character to him, and he's just and exact copy of cloud but without the flaws, besides in this cutscene sephiroth has the gay wing, that everyone had in crisis core, which is just ridiculous, why the hell when they were making crisis core did they decide giving every1 wings was a good fucking idea, it wasn't in ff7 at all, and it's kinda gay...

so u believe what ever storyline u want, that zack is the real hero or what ever, but the actual character design wud not exsit without cloud to base him off of, i mean the only difference in ff7 between the 2 was that zack had black hair, other that that they were the same fucking caracter model, it cud of just been an unused concept skin for cloud that they just thru in originally...
