In all honesty, I am sort of curious as to why the congratulations message at the end of that game is written in romanji. Like, are they trying to ease the Japanese people playing this game on there Famicom into learning English, or what?

@TheRealKitsune The cartridge probably was built for an eventual English release, and due to space restrictions, could only fit one alphabet. So, they picked the tradition romanized one for an international release.

Also, a good number of small kids in Japan don't learn most kanji until about 10. So there's usually a sub-text on it. Since they can't do it on the NES, they spell it out sometimes. Both possible reasons.

That machine gun he pulls up is actually an old cursor game I used to have on a memory stick at school, which usually came with trojans. So basically he's got an image onscreen of the game cart, run the cursor game, and hovered the mouse which is also a machine gun onto the image and shot the image a ridiculous amount of time. Great effort there, kid.

During that same part he was building up the final boss, then paused at the screen just before for a little canon blabber about who the boss can be but then when it was revealed he gave a silent "What the fuck!?" he then finished the boss, and puffed up the ending before seeing it was in Japanese and began crying out of shock. Then proceeded to give a slow motion scream of anger.
