  • why does it have 10 legs?

  • @vta40oz

The 2 extra small legs you see in the front are its feelers or its pedipalps, so they don't really count as legs.

  • lol stay packing Ts my friend

  • oh wow shes beautiful...Jon, I wanted to get myself an versicolor this weekend...Ive been looking up on alot of vids pertaining to them. Why is is that alot of veri's have this type of patch looking thing at the end of the abodomen. is that them kicking hairs? is it a normal bald spot? or is it like a regular dark patch?

  • @doublejayjones

its a regular dark patch. All versis have this.

  • hey jon dont you put a cover there wont the t escape? because i never see covers on cages like that

  • schönes tier

  • thats the small form right?

  • @reecelol12345

not necessarily, the species can get up to 5''. This one has more growing to go

  • beautifull spider, im looking at buying my first spider soon, any suggestions on what to get? i want one thats very docile and i dont need to handle.

  • @baelzabub

If you check my video called "T Recommendations Video: Good Beginner Species" I went through a shopping list of Ts that I recommend for the first one. Either Avicularia avicularia (pinktoe), Brachypelma smithi (mexican red knee) , Brachypelma albopilosum (curly hair) or Eupalaestrus campestratus (pink zebra beauty)

  • wow!....it's really docile.....but as i know versicolor not that docile right?...this one as i can see really calm one.....make me wanna get avicularia genus soon...LOL!

  • @Corpload

she has gotten a little defensive once she settled in. Not overly that aggressive but really fast

  • Very very cute. The spider is cute too.

  • What u said at 2:46 to 2:55 about drowning is not true, as Ts are covered in water repellent hair which hold out water.

  • @tarantulaguy1998

that may be true about the hair as in H.gigas, but you are missing the point that they have booklungs and water can migrate in there. Then why do you think when we ship tarantulas, the paper towels are not soaked? This is why you never give slings waterdishes to drink.

  • Travel by boat

  • boat?

  • @Jack5458

Im not sure if I follow?

  • @Jon3800 I think Jack5458 wants to get into Canada to acquire amazing tarantulas like we have for sale here, but he's asking how he can do it....if not by plane, by boat? (jokingly ;)

  • @shanrocks777

oh right lol. it makes sense

  • @Jack5458

    hovercraft?

  • Why can't I just get on a plane

  • @Jack5458

Even then they can search for it. Airports have strict rules thanks to 9/11

  • um can you send me a tarantula if i go to a hotel in canada

  • @Jack5458

I guess, but you might have trouble crossing the border

  • beatifull .....

in my town , or near the towns i cant have spider like that.....

where are you from jon ?? i want to go in this land like you

  • @Wc3Daniel1998

I live in Canada, and there should be plenty of German dealers. Unfortunately, I have no idea where

  • Great t jon :-) your video's r so cool keep up the good work mate.

  • can i have 1

  • can i have 1

  • @stihl334

I can only sell spiderlings within Canada. It's impossible to send overseas

  • Green carapace form? Is that a color morph; like the RCF G.rosea?

  • @KawaiiKemonomimi

I think it's just a color variation, like the B.boehmei with the light and dark carapace. Not the same as the RCF G.rosea, because hobbyists are starting to think they may be a different species to the normal phase

  • beautiful versie john she has her juvi. colors but still wht a pretty girl

  • @unrealherpkeeper

    thanks :)

  • nice to see your still collecting dude

Ts have been one of my main interests since before i could speak

  • you really shouldnt show peoples addresses on your vidoes . now i know where she lives..

  • @KroatianBOInigga

I know. It's actually my address. I think pretty much everyone knows I live in Quebec :D

  • What a sweetie, she looks and behaves just like mine :)

Good to see losing your old girl didnt put you off the Versies :)

  • @znallar

    thanks man

  • Is the green carapace one the small form or is the turquoise the large form, cause i was thinking about getting one. She is a nice t tho well done.

  • @canond450

Green is supposed to be the smaller one, but we can find out.

  • Most of the versis in Bulgaria (if not all) are green carapace.

  • awesome

  • Nice enclosure!

  • i love versi's

  • Avics are so sweet and she looks especially cute.

Typically jumpy when startled, but not overly.

  • cool vod as usual- you might wanna blur out your address on the package, dude.

  • @surfrussia

ya, sorry. I don't know how to blur out stuff yet

  • @Jon3800 just looking out for your safety :)

  • Can I have 1

  • Can I have 1 plees

  • I'm not so sure about female. But then again it wasn't a clear shot.

  • @SpyderownerSixtyNine

I'll use my other camera and have a better look, but she looks to have epigastric furrow

  • jon you should make a book you would sell

  • wow thats a very docile versi. very healthy too. she's sexy. lol really!

  • My T. is hilarious A couple of minutes ago I fed a him a cricket, and wasn't paying attention so I got a cricket out of the feeder cage and just threw it in on him. The cricket landed on him and he just runs away. I wonder if he's too docile xD. I just hope the little cricket doesn't beat him up tonight.

  • @virtuosoikingpin you might want to consider removing the feeders inside the enclosure. it your t is in premolt, its never going to eat it. and if in case it molts tonight, there's a good chance the the prey eats the predator.

crickets have been known to eat molting tarantulas. happened to me once, and it just sucks. i've since shifted to b. lateralis and b. dubia roaches.

  • @starboymachine Thanks for the advice I just got it a couple of days ago so I really don't know anything about them. I just saw your message this morning, but luckily he didn't molt. I'm gonna go buy another feeder today.

  • Aww so cute and docile for a versi, a great buy jon!

  • Hi Jon. You completely did me justice with this review! Thank you so much! I was worried something would happen to her in transit, especially since it was my first shipping. I am relived she arrived healthy. I'm so happy you're happy with her! The transaction of $60 and 2 gigas slings (3 out of your generosity) is completely fair. She was reluctant to get into the container at first, but I told her she was going to be a youtube video star. ;) Take care of my girl! She's a sweetheart of a T.

  • @shanrocks777

    My greatest pleasure :)

  • shes so cute! <3

  • Thats awesome I would buy from her is I was alowed to own T's lol!

  • You should name her Luna

  • Congrats on the new versicolor Jon!!

  • Wow Jon not only is she pretty she really was so very docile, let's hope she stays that way:)

  • @PlasmaDude47
