  • Kill! dol!

  • Hally wood is anti-Japanese. I will never see the Hollywood movies.

  • fuck the jap they are fucking bull shit mother fuckers that eat dogs and whals and dolphins thats fucking sad you stuped mother fuckers suck my 8=======D

  • I LOVE DOLPHINS AND A HERO SO U.S NAVY SAVE SEA ANIMAL BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!!!!!!

  • イルカがなんの役に立つ?肉にするだけだ!

  • fuck dol they nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki!

  • The thing is, I don't see this animal abuse. I see a hunt. Different ideas. In my opinion, I'm not gonna act superior to others, when I am on their same level and eating meat. When I know everything feels pain, but everything must kill to live.

  • i can kill dolphin easier than to kill a pig. This is Buddism of Japan. Dolphin looks like fish.

I saw dolphin in the aquarium. They are returous for one dolphin push nose another dolphins sex organ.

  • These people are 'Stars'? No, really, who the fucking hell are these losers?

  • have you people ever watched the documentary film called "OUR DAILY BREAD" ??

I strongly suggest to watch that film. then, watch "THE COVE" again.

that may change your way of thinking.

    type "OUR DAILY BREAD"

  • When I watch this, I see people trying to tug at my heart strings. But here's the thing. That's Japan. We have no right to intervene, UNLESS there's a species that is facing extinction.

Why do people try and save dolphins that are not endangered, but let other species such the Chinese giant salamander, gharial, and West Indian Ocean coelacanth become critically endangered? Is it because those animals are not appealing?

This is a matter of culture, and being racist and negative won't help.

  • @Megraptor Blood industries all over the world have no longer anything to do with culture. What's wrong in intension to save even one innocent life? We should all finally speak for those speechless, which have suffered enough through thousands of years of human activity! I'm going fight to the end of my lifetime.

Look at Natalie Portman, James Cromwell, Joaquin Phoenix and more! Not only from America!

  • @TheNepeta they are all whites.

  • @GUNBUSTER2010 Soo? You don't think only white people are able to sympathize, I hope...

  • @TheNepeta Because a lot of people are getting the wrong message. They suddenly believe that Japan is evil and they deserve to be called racist names because of this. The Japanese feel the western world is attacking them because of that, and they also feel we are hypocrites, because we kill millions of animals each year. They have strong Shinto and Buddhist overtones in their culture. Shinto believes every plant and animal (including humans) are equal.

  • @Megraptor "Poor Japanese soo confused...bad bad western countries have no idea what important for them is!"

I don't get how any of you can justify such cruelty because the fact is that no other nation (except from Ireland as I know) came up with an idea to kill dolphins.

  • @TheNepeta Umm. No. There's a lot of nations that kill dolphins and whales. Faroe Island, Iceland, Solomon islands, Peru, Taiwan used to, HAWAII used to, and the island nation of Kiribati used to too. Ireland, interestingly enough, never hunted dolphins. I have no idea where you read that.

  • @Megraptor Yeah, wikipedia is invaluable. xD Actually I was wrong - it was Denmark (Faroe Isl.) which makes the same horror to dolphins each year.

    /watch?v=DcLi0YLiQhA&feature=fvsr

Tradition, culture...every excuse is good enough to justify.

  • @TheNepeta Well the Faroe Islands are a lot different. See, they live in the arctic, where barely anything can grow. They have less than 2% arable land, so they cannot gain all their nutrients by plants. Now most of their diet is fish, but they have supplemented their diet with pilot whale blubber because it is high in vitaman C. Their are also indigenous native Americans that eat whale for the same exact reason. These people along with the Japanese use the whole whale.

  • @Megraptor And the decline of whale populations isn't because of these people, any people that currently hunt whales today. It's because the Europeans, Americans and Australians found out that whales were a good source of oil for lamps before we had petroleum oil. That and the mercury in the ocean is mostly from western nations. I bet they, as in the people who whales, aren't very happy with that.

  • @TheNepeta Buddhism says to thank the plants and animals for giving their lives for each meal. I think there is also hypocrisy in the fact that it was the westerner, not the Japanese, that slaughtered most of the whales. They would use them for whale oil, and the rest of the carcass was discarded. The Japanese render every piece useful. Of course now we say it is their fault.

I find it disgusting that people are wishing tsunamis, earthquakes and nuclear bombs on them,

  • @Megraptor And one more thing: why religion?...can anyone talk to me without this argument? Every one is so irrational to natural laws. I'm just religion-resistant because I prefer to think on my own without top recommendations. See, animals aren't able to believe because they only plan to survive the present day or nearest future...and they are more merciful than we - the highest kind. They kill fast. They kill because they have no other choice.

  • @TheNepeta They kill these dolphins fast. They outlawed slitting the throats in the 1990's. The new way of doing it is harpooning the spinal cord, which causes a relatively fast death due to the paralyzing of internal organs, and since the spinal cord is broke, they feel no pain.

You think animals kill fast? Orcas take bites out of larger whales until it bleeds out. Wobbegong sharks eat prey live. Crocs and gators drag their prey into the water to drown it, all when ripping pieces off.

  • @Megraptor Is there any possibility that you know the difference between human and animal? And the choice versus lack of choice [food]?

  • @TheNepeta Humans are animals, there is no difference. But we have culture, art, mechanics, transportation, society, jobs, government, religion, engineering, and science That's what sets us apart from everything else in the world. This animals might be smart, yes, but we have not seen signs of the above things. And if these animals were given rights, they'd have to be throw in jail for the murder of their own kind.

  • @TheNepeta Actually I found something even more interesting about dolphins- They kill for fun. telegraph.co .uk/earth/earthnews/3323070/Killer-dolphins-baffle-marine-experts.html

  • @Megraptor I think you want to prove that animals are at least as cruel as we are. You're right when you skip the fact that we as the top species were given sth called will, mind able to make reasonable responsible moral decisions distinguishing what should and shouldn't be done. I'm aware of what you have presented here about dolphins cruelty.

  • @TheNepeta The problem of what should, and shouldn't be, is a cultural thing. For example, my country doesn't agree with the Middle Eastern's way of treating women. The Muslims think their women should be covered, and should be property of the men. We don't. Now, if you ask them who is right, they will say them. If you ask an American, they will say us.

"You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist."- Friedrich Nietzsche

  • @Megraptor I'm thinking right now about moral relativism because when I have my own right, you have your own - nothing can be build in the name of law. I'm always curious how some people mix animal abuse and religious motives. It's no argument for me because I believe in nothing. Maybe that's why the video above I can only match with animal abuse and no deeper ideology.

Being a vegan is a challenge not to kill in the main. Not killing dolphins is the same.

  • @Megraptor Maybe for fun, maybe for further pracise in gaining prey. Only we having such tools to obtail various kinds of food have chosen to kill them what makes no difference between present human and his forefather. In other areas of life we do want to make progress, don't we?

  • @TheNepeta Yes everyone wants to make progress. But I fail to see how that is related to the "Being a vegan/not killing dolphins" argument.

  • @TheNepeta Star Wars attacks Japan!

  • @Megraptor there's no reason to really kill these animals though. The toxin in these animals can kill people, yet its still sold its not a culture though

  • @littlesercet Surprisingly, no one in the town of Taiji has developed Minamata disease, also known as mercury poisoning, and hasn't due to eating dolphins. While I do agree there is mercury in the dolphin meat, it's the westerner's fault for that, What also must be taking into consideration is how polluted manufactured food is, and what kind of chemicals are put into that. A lot of food has petro-chemical derivatives in it, in many different forms.

  • @Megraptor I agree in someways but most large marine animals have so much mercury that there consider a hazard to human health.

  • @littlesercet What isn't a hazard to human health now-a-days?

  • @Megraptor just realised I epically agree with you. great comment

  • japan can get a 10 inch in diameter 12 feet long pipe set it in the ground climb up a twelve story building butt first and fuck themselves

  • @TheOrcas94 おもろいやっちゃなこいつ。

  • @TheOrcas94 なにゆうてはんの、わからへんでえ。

  • @TheOrcas94 I think that you are right.

  • SAVE THE WALES AND THE DOLPHIN'S FUCK JAPAN!

  • @fantthomas I think so too.

  • @fantthomas I LOVE DOLPHINS!!!!

    .

    .

    .

especially with a little wasabi and A LOT of saki!!!!

  • This is the cult!

  • The Japanese scientists are awesome for thier creativity.

Our scientists presented the physics that this space is not 4 demention, but 5 or 6 demention.

and travel in space over the speed of light is possible and even time machine is possible.

  • hehehehehehehehe, the losers.

  • hey a submarine is sinking.

  • @RodMunch247 Obviously you haven't seen the movie or done the remotest research since studies, LEGITIMATE studies, show that mercury poisoning isn't just an "old wives tale." Obviously you haven't even seen a LEGITIMATE college degree since two or three comments down, you were typing without punctuation and incorrect spelling. I hope you get a proper education and stop fighting the fact that you're uneducated in this subject.

  • 出演者豪華だなーw

  • Please find compassion in your heart to end the slaughter of entire dolphin families including mothers and babies - let's live in peace!

  • @cheyla38

they do have compassion. you think they don't?

if u eat meat and vegi to live, u r the same as those fishermans.

all humans r guilty cuz we have to take others life to live.

sorry if u feel offended from my comment

  • @sinkbelow yes, cant agree more. we kill animals for food, that make us "killers". BUT, dolphins contain high level of mercury in the body, and their meat is not safe for consumption. so, why we still wanna kill them? just don make sense to me. In order to protect the industry, news/details are censored deliberately. we are killing dolphins, not to fill our stomach, but our endless greed. And I think we should stop that.

  • @ultraman365 thanks for the comment. well, let me answer one by one.

"dolphins contain high level of mercury in the body, and their meat is not safe for consumption."

    maybe that is true.

but still, the average life span of ppl in Taiji are -- man - 77.7 woman -- 85.3

and those numbers r much higher than, for example, the U.S. man - 75.2 woman - 80.4. (2005)

they do know about mercury issue, but they think it is OK if they don't eat them like 3times a day.

  • @sinkbelow its well known that japanese live longer than americans. but logically, we shouldnt say that because Japanese live longer than american, therefore mercury issue is ok. See the logical gap there? I can argue that Japanese can live EVEN LONGER if not because of the mercury. "they do know about mercury" well I doubt it, especially for ppl outside taiji. I have no evidence, but a sensible guess is that most ppl don know about it, and nobody would choose to consume mercury deliberately.

  • @ultraman365 Thanks for the reply. well, I'm not saying the mercury issue is ok.

Japanese ppl, inclede me, are aware of the issue, thanks to the movie.

BUt, we still think the merculy issue is not the serious case compare to "Minamata disease" in 1965. because of "Minamata disease," mercury poison is well known in Japan.

However, in Taiji, there are no ppl who died pr got disease because of mercury, or eating dolphin in the past. that is why they r not worried.

  • racists!!

  • KILL DOLPHINS!

  • @GUNBUSTER2010 oh dear God, can you pls turn him into a dolphin pls?

  • i hope to kill americans rather then dolphin.

  • @GUNBUSTER2010 And I'll eat you just give me your address!

  • US american war criminals nuked Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

  • @sinkbelow yeah they definitely do say it, I think it's around the mid way point. I do see where you are coming from but dolphins but I feel that the only way they will stop hunting dolphins is when there are no more left to hunt. :/

  • @sinkbelow yeah they definitely do say that. I see where yo are coming from but I feel that the only way they will stop hunting is when there are none to hunt.

  • @TheFemaleRonWeasley

fishermans do not listen to u no matter how loud u scream unless u understand them.

think about it. they have been hunting whales & dolphins since hundreds of years ago.

they think fishes (include whales & dolphins) r the gifts from the ocean.their lives r depends on those gifts.

It is too easy to just say "hey stop, that is cruel." anybody can say that.

even 3yr old kid can say that.

I apologize if make u mad or uncomfortable.

but I guess I'm being honest with u.

  • @sinkbelow another strong argument you have made: the cultural factor. We should respect others culture, cant agree more. BUT, what if the tradition is not publicly acceptable in the modern world, (just look at the ratio of like to dislike, you would see what i mean). should we stop them? pre-Columbian Aztec civilization practiced human sacrifice, should their decedents relinquish this tradition too? Headhunting was practised in historic times in many parts of the world, should we do that too?

  • @ultraman365

First of all, I'm glad to hear that u said "We should respect others culture".

maybe their tradition of the dolphin hunting is not acceptable for others.

I don't know if we can compare the dolphin issue with the Aztec example or headhunting. but I guess I understand your point.

  • @ultraman365 there r 3 major reasons for the fishermans to hunt dolphins.

    1. for food

    2. catch dolphins alive and sell them to aquariums all over the world.

    3. to protect the fishing ground from dolphins.(dolphins eat tons of fishes which r sold in markets at good prices)

So, in my opinion, If the fishermans can find the way to save their fishing ground from too many dolphins, they might can stop hunting. or at least they will hunt less dolphins than they do now.

  • @sinkbelow I am more concerned about pt 3, which is like saying "pest control". guess who consume the greatest amount of fish/seafood per unit? we human. Frankly speaking, I am not so comfortable with the idea: kill dolphins so that we can consume EVEN more fish? Sounds very selfish and mean. And this certainly does not justify amount of slaughtering. Japanese are smart people (great innovators), i'm sure if they want to, they can find better way to balance the system instead of brutal killing.

  • @ultraman365 Yes, that is definitely "pest control" to the fishermans. nobdy is comfortable when we see that. and yes, this is very selfish and greedy.

They r doing this as a group just like a company. and a company seeks the profit. fishermans are doing this for the profit just like all companies r doing.

but as I I said before, they have the long history of fish hunting. the ways of their life is can not be changed easily even if there are other jobs available.

  • @ultraman365 Again, I'm glad to see your comments even our opinions r not the same.

but I'm pretty sure that if the fishermans in Taiji and ppl who r against dolphin hunting can have respectful debates, like u & i r having here, they can find the better way.

I guess win-lose arguments or lose-lose arguments btwn JP & other countries r not needed.

they both should win. and dolphins should win too.

sorry, my English might be a bit hard to understand 4 u.

    respect

  • @sinkbelow I guess argument is not to find who win/lose. thats not the point. the pt is something is seriously not right, as least most people feel not right, can we find a way/consensus to fix it? by the way are you a japanese? don get me wrong, i just curious who have such a strong stand on the opp view. your English is perfectly understandable. I'm not a native English speaker. Can't agree more, problem with the world is stupid ppl make too much noise, and intelligent ppl remains silent

  • @ultraman365 oh don't get me wrong. I wanted to tell u that we have to find a reasonable conclusion for both groups of people. so I said win/win is the best.

since there r peolple who think this is not right, we Japanese have to take that seriously.

most people r just saying this is bad and need to be stopped. but the problem is not that simple. we have to try to understand each other to solve the problem.

    otherwise it only make hates.

  • @ultraman365

I think anti-whaling ppl should give sugessions instead of booing to the fishermans.

and that is the starting point of solving the issue.

right now, the argument is very oneway and it is hard for the fishermans to take them positively.

  • @sinkbelow yeah they basically said that they were doing it for pest patrol because they eat to much fish, which frankly is pathetic.

  • @TheFemaleRonWeasley really? I think I missed that part. I will watch the DVD again.the word "pest" may not be appropriate. but I know that for some fishermans in Japan, dolphins can be their enemies sometime cuz they eat fishes like sea breams. and sea breams can be sold good price in Tsukiji fish market. that is like diamonds to them. If they can find the way to save dolphins & their fish grounds at the same time, they may can stop hunting dolphins. or hunting less dolphins than they do now.

  • Japan is a docile country for one reason: We smashed them into it with nuclear fire. They will conquer and exploit anything they are allowed too. "oh k, we no attack you no more,,we kill dolphin, whale, you want tiger penis? We sell you tiger penis and shark fin soup yeah!" Hey,,hit'en with another earthquake. They cut sharks fins off and toss them back in the ocean still alive. They are greedy little murdering slit eyed yellow bastards. Yeah I said it. DO SOMETHING!

  • Love and admire just about everyone who spoke in this vid. the only ones I didn't were the ones I didnt' recognize. Well I admire the ones I didn't recognize. So what can we do about it? Make Japan stop doing this? How might we do this? We could threaten them with another Earthquake. Get H.A.A.P. involed. Tell them they have a friend.

  • @RodMunch247 Dolphins rely on sound, they're acoustic animals. Japanese fisherman create a wall of sound by sticking long rods in the water and banging on them, terrifying the dolphins into the cove. I hope you get mercury poisining from all those dolphins you've eaten.

  • Did anyone else catch Claire and Ando from Heroes???

  • @powerenslaver

    I did!

and started look for Hiro and other guys in the drama.

would be cool if Sylar is in the vid.lol

  • It's just fishery same as fishing sea bass, grouper etc. & they do it in Japan which whaling is legal. All you should " Save Alaska dolphins" first. It should be better if your campaign is against fishery not only whales or dolphins.

  • you eat humbergers coz cows r stupid?

Is it OK to eat porkchops coz pigs r stupid??

    I don't think so.

I agree that this movie is well made.

    but this is too one-sided.

they hunt dolphines to eat & to sell.

you Americans & Europeans r buying those dolphines too.

take a look at yourself before you blame.

  • @sinkbelow Have you even seen the movie? Most Americans don't even know whats going on. Us Americans are as just uneducated as you are ignorant. Do some reasearch before you go an claim that we're pointing the finger where we shouldn't be.

  • @79allthatjazz

    Yes, I have.

and I think I understand what they are trying to say.

I said the movie is one-sided because it do not show those fisherman's opinions about hunting dolphins.

if you have no knowledges about the issue, you would think like.. wow, Japanese fisher mans are so evil. but that is not true at all.

Yes, hunting dolphins or whales are cruel.

but killing other animals or plants r also cruel.

we human beings r all guilty after all.

    that is my opinion.

  • @sinkbelow what if I made killing stupid people my profession. You could do a documentary on the cruelties I've had to face as murderer by trade while make a living off you!

  • @ebinger224

    ??

    sorry, I don't understand.

do u think dolphins r equal to human??

plz wait till I understand what u r trying to say.

I'm not very good at English...

or can u rewrite the sentence → "You could do a documentary on the cruelties I've had to face as murderer by trade while make a living off you!"

    thank u

  • @sinkbelow The fishermen are evil. Watch the cove and you will understand. Ric was watching one time and the fishermen held up a dolphin and slit its throat right in front of him. He also said he would pay them the same amount to stay in land, but they said they were doing it because they are pests. They are evil. They love killing them. They have no conscience.

  • @TheFemaleRonWeasley

I did. but maybe I should watch that all over again cuz I don't remember the part

"they said they were doing it because they are pests"

    thanks for telling me

  • It makes me cry everytime I see anything connected with this movie.

  • GO SEA SHEPHERD!!!!

  • this is so powerful <3

  • I saw YouTube videos Hayden Panettiere promoting Neutrogena animal tested products smiling. I am so sick and tired of Western hypocrites. Protest whatever that is going on in your country.

  • @mahalo303 Neutrogena does not test on animals, get your facts straight. And it's about the dolphins, not the celebrities that happen to support it.

  • @rpeswims You must be talking about Neutrogena Natturals that do not test on animals. But Neutrogena, and its company Johnson&Johnson use animals to test. It's about animals, its about life. Don't be hypocritical.

  • @rpeswims ""Neutrogena does not test on animals, get your facts straight.""

Well lets get it from the neutrogena disclosure statement....June11, 2010

    1) """Any new ingredients, however, would require appropriate safety validation that might include laboratory animals"""

    2) "" Ultimately, however, testing with a minimum number of animals is necessary... """

    3) ""..there currently is not a single validated alternative test that can fully replace whole animal testing..""""

    Neutrogena = animal test

  • @rpeswims """And it's about the dolphins, not the celebrities that happen to support it."""

IF the celebrities "happen" to support the dolphins; then it is fully right and justified to call them out on THEIR words here.

We assume the celebrities arent being "actors/fakers" when they are making these PSAs. If we common folk are responsible for what comes out out mouths; so should it be for these "celebirities" too. No excuses

  • fuck seaworld

  • your friend.......is food.

  • @boorbaga you should be food to gypsies fucking idiot... why eat dolphin he is 100 times more inteligent then you will ever be

  • @justynbboy relax lady. you're being hysterical!

  • Hundreds of dolphins are killed by fishing net all over the world. Those dead/killed dolphins are thrown away. It is a well known fact but nobody is campaigning. This is Save"Japan"Dolphins campaign. More whales are killed by European whaling than Japanese whaling last year, Whale War show is targeting Japan. What a Western hypocrisy.Shame on you.

  • USJ

  • hmm lets see them being cove guardians or join in with the sea shepards. Oh wait no - these big 'celebrities' will only jump on the bandwagon to get even more attention, they will never actually do anything they get involved in. Pathetic video. Are they in Japan right now - being arrested for standing up for dolphins? NO of course not - they could not possibly do something helpful. Waste of time.

  • @Zvedbed if you've seen The Cove you would know that Hayden Panettiere has not only been to Taiji numerous times but played an active role in trying to put a stop to this. If celebrity endorsement is one of the ways to spread awareness then more power to them.

  • @scscscs14 Oh i have seen The Cove many times and the only time you see her is crying once. People CANNOT get their emotions involved in this because we then have no arguement. These 'celebrities' do nothing. Throw some money here and there but that is not enough. What about the un-named people who have been arrested for standing up to this? The people who are there EVERYDAY - such as Heather Hill - who document what is going on through videos, photos, blogs etc.

  • @Zvedbed Believe me, I know that Heather Hill and the many other people who are so heavily involved are the backbone of this movement and organization. I was just simply saying that these celebrities have the power to influence many people and having them participate in a video like this might help create awareness. I agree though the focus needs to remain on the dolphins and helping put an end to this any way we can.

  • Comment removed

  • @Zvedbed continued - They need to help by being there too and updating everyone, not simply just this. But hey if it helps the dolphins in any way then it is a good thing and if people are now aware through this video then great. But we all need to be in this together and one day i do believe this will end forever.

  • @scscscs14 continued - But no she will not get any credit, just a silly 'actress' girl who wants to save dolphins because they are sooo cute and like so cool. The change needs to come from within Japan or it is a losing battle.

  • @scscscs14 continued again - Maybe 'celebrities' should put their money were their mouth is and stop trying to jump on the bandwagon and actually go and do something. I urge you to join 'Save Misty the Dolphin' on facebook where you will see the real stars who phone constantly throughout the day to put pressure on people, not these 'celebrities' who will do anything to stay in the spot light.

  • Every problem on this planet a serious issue to someone. BTW: Real activists don't condemn others for standing up for the cause(s) they believe in. You go your way, we'll go ours, and all the best of luck and success as you sacrifice for the cause(s) you work for.

  • Anddd we are there only hope, they can understand us but we cant understand them, how magical are these animals.. Sometimes i am ashaimd i am A human being,.. it makes me so sad..

  • Wow, now I know why Brad Pitt left Jen to Angie. Angie is a real humanitarian/activist focusing on real issues. I had no idea how Jen could be this fake and stupid. Even if one is against killing dolphins, real activists like Angie and Leo DiCaprio will never appear on a video like this stupid one cause they know the real serious issues.

  • @rakitafaliali Sorry but, the only thing that Angelina knows is to adopt children.

  • Hindu people do not preach you around not to eat cow though they think cows are sacred and they do not eat. But you Western people always have this arrogant needs to demand other nations to obey. Do you know you people used to hunt dolphins while you cruise on ship just for fun? Even passengers on Titanic shot dolphins from the ship JUST FOR FUN. That's we call "NEEDLESS SLAUGHTER" while these fishermen are hunting for living. You hypocrite.

  • @mahalo303 Dolphins are highly intelligent, sentient beings. As we've become more knowledgeable about the self-awareness of these species, we realize that this inhumane slaughter is disgusting and heartless. The Save Japans Dolphins organization has offered solutions for these fisherman that would be just as profitable and they have refused all of these offers. It it truly sickening and these people clearly have no regard for these beautiful animals of the sea.

  • @scscscs14 Every animal is beautiful and every killing is brutal. A recent study discovered that rats show compassion and help other rodent. When you are from the society in which BILLIONS of animals are domesticated and killed for food (for human convenience), and are only pointing your fingers out to this small village fishermen, you are only hypocrite.

  • @mahalo303 The slaughter in Taiji is the largest dolphin slaughter in the world, which is why it is targeted. This is not a question of Western/Eastern culture, it is a matter of saving these beautiful animals from these mindless and highly unnecessary killings.

  • @scscscs14 You don't realize how hypocritical you are cause you are seeing this through Western belief system. Japanese were mostly vegetarian and fish eating ppl until late 19th century before Western influence. Until then, Japanese considered eating animal meat is barbaric. Now you think Japanese are barbaric for hunting dolphins. For Japanese, domesticating animal is more inhuman than hunting cuz there is no respect for animals in domesticating them for human convenience.

  • @mahalo303 And this inhumane slaughtering, where dolphins experience immeasurable pain, is respectful of animals? Now that numerous studies have been done which prove their intelligence and sentience, the Japanese government and the IWC needs to seriously re-evaluate this disgusting practice and put an end to it.

  • @scscscs14 Do you think your domesticated animals do not suffer? I gave you an example, that recent SCIENTIFIC study discovered this small animal RATS even show COMPASSION an HELP other rodents. Western society is the biggest meat consumption and animal killing society. That is why I say you are hypocrite.

  • @scscscs14 I also have to mention, the greedy US society is the worst in destroying the Earth's environment. US, this one nation, creates 50% of CO2. Scientific study indicates that in four years, the climate temperature will rise 7-8F. This will put many ocean creatures in dangerous situations and cause suffer. These celebs who fly private jets to enjoy their vacations to play with their "cute" dolphins are the biggest hypocrites.

  • Lets END the needless slaughter of dolphins. It is brutal the way the Japanese kill them. I have one word for how they kill these magical creatures: SICK.

  • @sphinster22315 What about how Americans kill cows, pigs and chickens? Is that not "SICK" either? There are a lot of bad things happening to both animals and people around the world but if we don't try to help our own country first, we can't really reach our hands out and help others.

  • @sphinster22315 """Lets END the needless slaughter of dolphins""" what do you mean "needless"??? The hunters/fisherman of Taiji have become specialized in this technique and have created/adopted this niche and it is part of their society/culture/economy/livelihood. it supports their local community, economy, their life and families...that is a "need". it is not "needless" it isnot just done for fun or pleasure or sport or hobby..there is nothing "needless" about it

  • I'm fine with dolphins being in captivity if they are research dolphins or they are being used for positive research (Studying their habits, their dna, and ways to help them if they go extinct in the wild). I'm against healthy ones being taken out of the wild because they are "pretty".

  • its with people like u that there s hope

  • Please help stop the slaughter!

  • All this shit over a group of people eating an animal which is viewed as cute. Fuck I think cows and chickens are cute but I fucking eat it every day. Unless you are 100% veggi eater you fucking morons have nothing to say over who eats what and where. BTW The fucking Japs are eating whales and dolphins who have the highest levels of mercury in them. If they find it reasonable to consume meats with deadly levels of heavy metal okay with them, let them.

this should be a health issue!!!

  • hypocrites

  • THANK YOU GUY'S!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL....I hope you will take more actual acts to stop dolphins killing

  • i hope beat up the people in this video and SS in Taiji.

  • Entire families, including children, are brutally murdered nearly everyday in Taiji Japan - this practice brings shame on a great nation. Find compassion to live in peace with all fellow animal species, then we will experience "heaven."

  • @cheyla38 Sorry, they do not "murder" dolphins every day in Taiji. You are completely wrong.

  • @cheyla38 You know what? the activists, harrasing fishermen in Taiji are not brutally killed because they are protected under Japanese law. We do not carry around guns and shoot people so these activists can enjoy harrasing fishermen safe and sound. How easy it is. What's gonna happen if anyone do the same in Texas, or maybe in China to protest against killing Tibetans. Yes, they get shot or disappear. It is so easy and fun to harrass Japanese right?

  • @mahalo303 Thank you very much. ありがとうございます。

  • @cheyla38 Ummm. Dolphin hunting does not take place "nearly everyday"; it occurs during a given hunting season....unlike in my country where EVERY DAY cows, pigs, chickens are bred/raised only to be slaughtered 24 hours a day 7 days a week to fill our supermarkets and fast food restaurants....

  • If anybody support the Cove and what these celebs are saying, you have to see the other side too. Pls search the video "Sea Shepherd enjoys racism in Japan part1" on YouTube and see how the fishermen in this Taiji village are treated by Western people. You have to see the both side.

  • If this video action is a serious one, why not make it in Japanese language. These rich spoiled celebs just end up creating hate feeling between US and Japanese people.

  • This is sick. These US celebs pressuring this small village fisherman. Please stop the nonsense.

  • kill the dol!

  • @dolphinserenity could't have said it better myself.

  • The overpaid assholes pictured above don't mind eating living creatures, but when hard working Japanese people do the same, they complain in tears.

    How stupid.

  • @drkuroneko It's not about the eating of meat. I eat safe meat from farmed domesticated animals that were killed humanely. These fishermen are eating toxic meat from wild animals that were brutally rounded up and killed. See the difference?

  • @dolphinserenity Bad news. Farmed meat is loaded with cholesterol and growth hormone, which actually kill millions of people every year all over the world. Compared to that, your false claim about toxic meat is not based on the actual fact, unless you are able to provide a case of poisoning from dolphin meat.

  • @drkuroneko In addition, the dolphins are stabbed and bleed to death by the thousands without mercy even to the babies. This affects our eco system because dolphins are apex predators. Farm animals are prey animals. Dolphins are long living and slow to reproduce, farm animals are short lived and reproduce easily, their numbers are plentiful. Just to name a few differences.

  • @dolphinserenity Ok, I see that you want to justify your eating habit and racist desire. Farmed animals produce greenhouse gas. How about that? Farmed animals don't die surrounded by their family members and doctors. Millions of them are actually stabbed to death every day.

  • @drkuroneko Racist desire? Please don't ad hominem. Most of your arguments only apply to factory farming which I'm highly against. I live in Wisconsin, sorrounded by farms with free ranging animals that are treated and killed very humanely, with no steroids, and don't create all these greenhouse gases. Also, millions of farm animals are stabbed to death every day? They are actually killed very humanely by shooting a metal rod into their skull. Instant death. No pain.

  • @dolphinserenity How silly. Show me evidence for your false claim that cows in Wisconsin does not produce greenhouse gases and that their meat is free from cholesterol.

    "Instant death. No pain."

I am sure that you don't mind getting killed like that.

  • @drkuroneko Because they are farmed on independant farms, not in factories. And yes, if I had to choose a mode of death, I would choose an instant death like the cows.

  • @dolphinserenity I said that you show evidence. I certainly didn't ask why. In fact, it is impossible for red meat not to have cholesterol, which kills millions of Americans every year. Also, I didn't ask you to choose how you die. I asked whether you don't mind getting killed like cows that you eat. DO NOT CHANGE THE ISSUE, you asshole.

  • @drkuroneko Unfortunatly I don't discuss these very serious issues with people who use arguments dependent on logical fallacies and immaturity.

  • @dolphinserenity You are crying, aren't you. Losers of your kind really know no shame. You lose, declare victory, and run away.

  • @drkuroneko Sir, ma'am, whatever you happen to be...you should make an attempt to troll elsewhere, you're just not going to get a reaction out of me, I'm sorry.
