Don't get me wrong, it was filmed really well, and was very tense and creepy, especially the music...but if I had invested so much in the LnL sl, I'd have been pissed if that's how she was written out of the show. At least they got around to it 2 years later when Genie came back...

@pcimin00 this was a soap opera. it's pretend. the city's only set in the east coast. GH is filmed in Hollywood so it was more than likely in the 60's during the tapings...and they were more than likely in the studios. You gotta separate fact from fiction hon. these soaps ain't real.

To me this is where the show got stuck on stupid! They never explained why David Gray went after Laura in the first place. Yeah, I know they claim (in a vague way) he was working for the Cassadines. But during this storyline of David Grey and the missing "Lauras" none of the Cassadines didn't resurface until Laura Spencer made her return 2 years later! Always thought this storyline was ridiculous. I liked Demi Moore's character Jackie Templeton, she kicked ass back in the day, lol!!!!

@gun15509 yeah Liz Taylor was only on 2 epispdes in 1981 then stavros for a couple in 83. they always had to bring a new Cass out of the woodwork. where the f were they when the other C's were wreaking havoc on the yacht(that was a stupid story too!)

This was one of the best GH episodes ever! Well done, very atmospheric and spooky, I remember watching this when it aired and missed Laura so much after she left the show in this episode but it was a very memorable exit..her return 2 years later was even more exciting...thanks for posting it!!!

@pcimin00 yes emma was beautiful the main heroin(between Genie and Finola's time) And was a sweetheart for the soap media and had a press romance with her leading man Tristan Rogers. Robert and her were the best pairing. She never made any sense with Luke. That was no love story. You can't lank two characters together on a one night stand and call them a supercouple. I don't know why fans felt torn between luke and Robert. Holly and Robert were "it" just like L@l.

this was also the time ( after laura went away into the fog) that jackie templeton ( demi moore ) and laura templeton( janine turner) came on, and janine's character was a kinda lookalike to the " laura" but then they brought in holly(emma samms)
