and yeah i must admit those guys like eddie van halen and others are great but, their solo's are all about speed..
i prefer listening to one of dan's amazing rythmic solo's than to some guy hitting the guitar like he wants to break it ^^

as a musician i will say his solos lack allot in the sense of originality but as a metal head i say FUCK YEAH! they sound good no matter how technically easy and simple they may be people who hate on any ones music is simply jealous that the person can do something they cant all musicians (the real ones) respect each others talent.

I agree. I love Dan as a guitarist cause he does have skill, but I think Disturbed makes him repeat some of his talent, which is sort of a bummer :s. He has skill, but it's not being used fully to it's potentials.
