I saw both Tarzan and Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. It was so sad when they closed, excpecially BatB. I loved this show. Maybe someday before I graduate my school will put on a production. =P

beautiful :) i was in beauty and the beast in high school. i played belle :D lol on our last night, the whole cast was crying backstage when i sang this song. it was the last play for the seniors, so everyone was really emotional. it was really a lot of fun:)

Its whatever was on the CD, MollysIrishEyes did so wonderfully with this! :) I think on some levels she did so much better!

I heard somewhere there is supposed to be a revival sometime, since Disney was looking for a domain name for a revival website. I really hope there is a revival, but I'd also like to see Disney release a video of the original cast performing. It's a shame they closed it to open TLM. I mean, Batb was amazing!

Beauty and the Beast was magic, pure and simple no matter what form you put it in you couldn't go wrong O_O

They were freaking stupid for putting this out and bringing in the piece of garbage that is the Little Mermaid on Broadway. What pisses me off worse! Tarzan closed before Beauty and the Beast, why couldn't they shift things around?

That was just so beautiful. I almost cried. I miss BatB sooooo much. I hope its revived someday so I can play Belle. Love the song. Susan Egan is my second fav Belle. Anneliese van der Pol is first of course.

So Anneliese was really that good? I know she can sing (damn can that girl sing!) and she's a good actress on Raven, I'm sorry I missed out on seeing her. I live in Maine now (used to live in Jersey) and stupid me didn't want to pay the $30 fee for ordering tickets on-line for the one chance I had to go down there.

Oh yes. She was so amazing! Hey I live in NJ. But Anneliese was the first Belle I ever saw and I had no idea she could sing. I wasn't 100% convinced until she sang A Change in Me. I just couldn't believe it. She can play ditzy Chelsea on TSR and then play a more serious role like Belle. She is such a terrific actress. Sorry you didn't get to see her.
