I am not quite sure what you mean hear. You should have six by 4litres going through the still.

This will give you 6x800mls of 60%ABV.

0.8 * 6 * 0.6 = 2.88

So we have 2.88 litres of 100% alcohol.

2.88 / 24 = 0.12

That's more like 12% wash rather than 14%, am i right?

High Chris with the small Air Still you dont need to discard the first amount. with the larger model as they are more efficient it definately pays to do this.

Dont you need to discard the 1st 50-100mL pre 20L wash because it contains bad stuff thats not the best for you ??
