Stoning actually still happens in the world, but it’s not widely practiced anymore because laws and standards have changed. The law now is that stoning is seen as murder, especially in our culture, and not as a religious ritual...............

@madenmilan God is anything but consistent. There are numerous contradictions in the Bible. God commands the murder of so many people that it boggles me that people would say he is good. God condoned slavery. That's not love at all. I wouldn't want to go to heaven. It would either be a horrible place(free will with no punishment) or boring(free will with a ton of rules). Plus, how can someone enjoy heaven when most people they know wouldn't be there with them?

One, since humans haven't examined everything there is to examine, that means there is a possibility that there are species out there we don't know about. Second, since we continue to find new species constantly there is a high possibility that we will continue to find new species in the future. Lastly, evolution drives speciation, which means that as time passes, new species will evolve from old ones.

The things that were seen as punishable by stoning are not seen the same way today. Laws have changed because the culture has changed. they are born that way it took me a while to find that out but i did in the new testament jesus said they are born like that and they want go to hell .now it is some ppl that choose to be that way the old testament is want man wanted and the new testament is what god wanted thats why he sent jesus his son jesus christ to spread his word .because obivously the ppl in the old testament was not all right dont get me wrong the old testament have some things that god wanted.

If God exists and he's almighty, everything is his plan. Meaning he kills, makes people rape and have sex, beat other people, kill themselves and have silly ideas like throwing paper aeroplanes out of the window. If God exists and just expects people to do as he wants... he's not doing a good enough job to make us believe in him? Or he's just a silent observer and we're the mice in a lab.
We can't prove God's existence or nature. There's not even clear evidence that the world exists, mind you.

I will say that there are many who claim to be Christians, but its just a title to them. ie. In other religions, if one was raised in that religion but doesn't practice it, in most cases they will honestly tell you "its the way I was raised, but I don't practice it or follow it to a T"; however, people raised Christian are not so forthcoming.

@fromar07: You cannot attempt to have science validate the bible because the bible is up for interpretation. The way that u interpret the bible is different from how others may interpret it. However, science is NOT up for interpretation. Science relies on conclusive data, statistics, corelations, and measurements.
And the fossil record indicates that land dwelling animals came before birds existed. So either science is wrong or the bible is wrong. Or perhaps your interpretation is wrong.

Stoning actually still happens in the world, but it’s not widely practiced anymore because laws and standards have changed. The law now is that stoning is seen as murder, especially in our culture, and not as a religious ritual...............

If he loves us so much, why doesn't he just let everyone into heaven?

I took out heaven and hell for ONE MINUTE because Christianity is bigger than just going to heaven, or a non Christian going to hell. @madenmilan God is anything but consistent. There are numerous contradictions in the Bible. God commands the murder of so many people that it boggles me that people would say he is good. God condoned slavery. That's not love at all. I wouldn't want to go to heaven. It would either be a horrible place(free will with no punishment) or boring(free will with a ton of rules). Plus, how can someone enjoy heaven when most people they know wouldn't be there with them?

One, since humans haven't examined everything there is to examine, that means there is a possibility that there are species out there we don't know about. Second, since we continue to find new species constantly there is a high possibility that we will continue to find new species in the future. Lastly, evolution drives speciation, which means that as time passes, new species will evolve from old ones.

@maverik713 As far as stoning goes…again I will reiterate that it has to do with the culture and the times we live in today. The things that were seen as punishable by stoning are not seen the same way today. Laws have changed because the culture has changed. We still punish people for going against the law, we just don’t stone anymore. We have lethal injections now.

@madenmilan For me to feel God is immoral, I would first have to believe in his existence. When I say God is immoral, I am just going by what is in the Bible. It's like Superman comics. I think Lex Luthor is immoral, but I don't actually believe he exists. It's just according to what is in the comic books. Same thing goes for God. According to what is in the Bible, God is immoral. What Randy was saying is this: If you are a Christian and you want to talk with someone about Christ, FIRST you must see that Christ died for your sin as well. For some reason the sin of homosexuality seems to some as more serious or so he is saying if you examine the cross and what the bible says about sin you will see that that is NOT the case.

You're simply asserting that this will happen, without any evidence that it actually will. @baminc1 The fact that I continually recieve messages from theists claiming that the only explanation for why I fight so hard against god is because deep down I really believe there is a god says to me that theists rarely, if ever, communicate with each other about what non-theists actually believe. I found YOUR video very offensive towards Christians, but you openly admitted you dont have much knowledge on the faith. You attacked anyone who beleives in the Bible & the people in the video, above all else you attacked GOD. Fornicators are not singled out. These particular people are try to reach another group of particular people. Same as another group trying to reach out to drug addicts.
The concept of one sin = one sin may seem obsurd to you, because God's level of understanding is beyond yours. beyond mine, or beyond anyone's at P4CM.
God isn't only concerned in what you do naked, he's concerned with everything you do because he loves you and he created you to fellowship with him.

The Bible isn't going to make sense to you or anyone who hasn't accepted Jesus in their heart. The Bible actually says why this is. If you could read it without His Holy Spirit - you would think yourself higher or better than God. Present video is a prime example of what the Bible was referring to...and lets keep in mind this video is with you not knowing anything about the Bible. ..*shrugs* You drive God's point home...

@dPAmbassadors Thank you for being one of only a few "Christians" I've seen who's response didn't include, "You should burn in hell" and/or "fags deserve to die" I have looked around to alot of "christian" Youtube chanels and have seen nothing but hate, anger, and crualty! I conseder myself christian for a while now and have found out that there are not many christian like me at all. They seem mean in some way. And it always made me sad. Thanks for keeping things clean!

@dileeria Im sorry you were treated that way :( We Christians are still learning, but sometimes its hard for me too. This isn't any excuse I assure you. I will say that there are many who claim to be Christians, but its just a title to them. ie. In other religions, if one was raised in that religion but doesn't practice it, in most cases they will honestly tell you "its the way I was raised, but I don't practice it or follow it to a T"; however, people raised Christian are not so forthcoming.

The BIBLE scares people with the truths of hell...and when her mother admonished her reminding her of that fact - it was because she LOVES her.
oh and hell, its where you send you - not God. Hell is a place that is completely void of God...If you don't want God, hell is what you want obviously. How can a creation outsmart/out-think its creator and yet you think you can.

@fromar07: The verse for Genesis 1:20 says "Let the water teem with living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the sky." It says nothing about life STARTING in the water. You have just merely interpreted that verse so that it concurs with modern science. And with your interpretation, am I to logicate that after life "began" in the water that next came flying birds before there were actually walking animals?

@summercures2 @fromar07 Well you should look up various interpretations and their original meanings and not just open up the one bible you have everytime someone throws a biblical verse at you, and come to your own conclusions. If you need to, there are bibles for children that are a bit more clearly explained. That's how i started! ; )
Plus you can logimacate( sorry that word is to big for me) all you want, birds learn to walk before they can fly. Its a "goes without saying" thing!

@fromar07: You cannot attempt to have science validate the bible because the bible is up for interpretation. The way that u interpret the bible is different from how others may interpret it. However, science is NOT up for interpretation. Science relies on conclusive data, statistics, corelations, and measurements.
And the fossil record indicates that land dwelling animals came before birds existed. So either science is wrong or the bible is wrong. Or perhaps your interpretation is wrong.

@summercures2 How is science not up for interpretation? The more we advance the more we realize that we misinterpreted what we new to be true. Science has, and will always be trial and eror. Science at one point in time (about 50 years ago) believed that the atom was the smallest living thing until they split it open and a whole bunch of crap came out. antimatter : you can't see it or mesure it or prove it exists but scientists BELIEVE it is their. Sound familiar? Kind of religious, maybe.

@fromar07: Science is not up for interpretation. Science relies on evidence period. However, this evidence can be disproven with newer evidence that proves to be more accurate. This is not exactly "trial and error" as that is a method that relies on a series of guesses until a problem is solved. Rather, previous evidence is gathered and combined to find a new fact (or newer evidence).

@fromar07: And scientists don't "believe" anything. They theorize. A theory is an educated guess that is held to be true until either new evidence or facts prove it to be actually true or false. Scientists are aware that some of their "beliefs" can be false and are willing to strive for the answer through various studies and experimentation. However, religious people are not as unbiased. They believe no matter what kind of logic or scientic evidence disproves their religion. That's the differ.

Sin is sin, there are no levels. If you have gone against God's word you are in sin. So rapists actually are included in that list. Its called fornication, or adultery. I pray that you will truly come to the knowledge of Christ's and his love.
