The Star Wars logo zooming out is a very short video clip I recorded, by pointing a digital camera at my screen, then I uploaded it into the pc. You can then edit this clip into WMM, using blends and fades to cover the joins.
I think I may know what your problem is. I used the Windows XP Home version of WMM to produce this and my other videos, and I believe the Vista version of WMM has a much steeper Perspective crawl. Is this is so, then the only way to replicate this with WMM is to downgrade from Vista to XP. Or buy a proper film editing program. Hope this helps.
you don't need to make a video about that, thats something really obvious. Open Windows movie maker, select the titeling option, and there you can choose from different titles, including this one. its really simple.
its not simply, i did as you said; clicked the titleing option, and all you can chose from is what effect, colour and text. how do you change te speed, coz atm mine goes up really fast..
you can adjust the speed by making the Titleling effect on the timeline longer or shorter. The best way to do creative things with windows movie maker is just to experiment a lot.
You can choose to make a title in front of the screen. while selecting wath sort of title you want (i use the Dutch windows movie maker, so its kinda hard to explain). If you choose to make a title "on" the scene, you can put a picture of the stars in the Background or something like that. Hope you understand.
You should try to find News Gothic for the main part of the crawl and the episode number, and Univers LightUltraCondensed for the title. Those are the actual fonts used in the crawl.
Not a bad job overall for Windows Movie Maker though.
"Franklin Gothic Book" for the "A long time ago", "SW Crawl Title" for the Episode name and "Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed" for the main scroll and end credits.
Very good. Only flaw is the text looks bigger then the original. Still very good ;D

How did you get it to be at such an angle? That's the main problem I've had with trying to make the text crawl in WMM. Please respond.

ps3fanboy101 3 years ago
"Franklin Gothic Book" for the "A long time ago", "SW Crawl Title" for the Episode name and "Franklin Gothic Medium Condensed" for the main scroll and end credits.

How did you do that because I am making a movie but my opening crawls always come out sort of bad.
ps3fanboy101 3 years ago
What can't you do exactly? You were a bit vague....
sarahkb7 3 years ago
How? I have WMM too, but i can´t make such a realistic scroll! Great!
