I hope you know that a motor is broken in with in the first 15mins it is running, maybe even less... BEAT IT!!!!! Every one thinks they need to take it easy till 3000 miles or first oil change that isn;t the case. You should change the opil after running it for the first 15 mins, and Then your good 2 go Romp on it!!!!

Yes I do know how to break in a engine , I guess tuned would have been a better way of saying it because it was running like crap in this vid it was right after install and first run on motor , timing was way off and flooding and running hot . I don't want to get into why but we all know what we're doing or we wouldn't be doing it ok.

Im trying to get a 383 for my 91' Caprice this December. Not for racing or anything like that but because the car feels like its not going anywhere with the stock 305 in it. I need more power.... any tips?

did you had to do any thing special to the rear end to fit those rims and tires? i got one and iam plannig on putting those same wheels and tires. your car is awsome check mine out just type in cvgato. its a 71 with a 350 but no posi rear end. ohh and this video is really cool.

thank you very much.The wheel are cragars 15 x 10 with a 3.5 inch backspace and the tires are P295/50R15 and no specials mods are need but this is the fattest tire i could put on . I tried some Mickey Thompson ET drag radials and had to put spacers on cause they rubbed the tailpipes .

KcclAid, I see your reply but where in my replys to lostnewfinbc and his Camaro do you see that I have a L98? Never mentioned the fact that I have a Corvette with the L98, which is modified better than factory. I do agree the L98 was not the best 350 but not close to the worst. Consider the fact that the Fed Gov mandated such poor power in the 80's motors by all car manufactures. It was a bleak decade for all cars that typically would have much greater power and worth. I love Corvettes no matter

They did if you dropped one in. In the 60's and 70's whenever I purchased a car I usually changed or modified the car to my liking. Whether it be just upgrading what was in it or putting a completely different motor in it. This usually led to tranny mods and rear end changes as well. Everyone I knew in the day modified their rides to go as fast or what ever they wanted, & cheaper than today. Imagine driving your fast as it can go ride all week on $2 -3 of gas? Can barely get 1 gal now for that.

Very Nice!! The Camero is tastefully done. As it looked at the Show Room at some Chevy Dealer with the exception of the larger Cragers and tires. Just the rear deck spoiler. The video is nicely done with a nice rock song. The paint is exactly the same color as my friends '70 Chevelle SS 454 that he had back then. While I had my '70 Challenger RT 426 HEMI. We did race each other often and many years of friendship. Thanks for the memories.
