  • We mourn and we grieve over the lost of our beloved singer and hero, khmer rouge cut a piece out of every khmer heart when they kill Sin Sisamouth,he is soo loved in our homeland, his family would never have to endure this kind of suffering had he live.

  • I'm glad they did a memorial for Sinn Sisamouth. He should never be forgotten along w/ all the other Khmer artist from his time. His music is timeless.

  • I apologize !! no picture of the king or the queen of Cambodia in my home...my family members lost their life during khmer rouge, uncles, aunties, cousins and grandmother,at a very young age i saw a picture of sihanouk hugging khmer rouge, that did it for us,the portrait of the king and the queen of Cambodian was immediately removed from my parent living room.

  • I have two giant size painting oil on canvass of sin sisamouth and ros sereysothea hanging on the wall of my home, inside my entertainment karaoke room,it's about 6 foot in lenght and in width,it's to remind everyone who visit my home not to forget them,in the center of the two painting is a giant khmer flag ;),cost me a thousand dollar a piece for the painting and framing, painted by an ethiopian artist friend of mine from africa.

  • Wow, thats awesome! Could you take a picture of those paintings and put them online somewhere?

  • @KhmerSerey1 Hmmm, quite interesting...portrait of khmer dude and dudette but painted by Ethiopian artist!

  • so many imitators, yet only ONE originator.

His songs are timeless. Let's not forget another legend, Ros Sereysothea.

  • I completely agree with your..., shall we name her the "QUEEN" of Khmer

    Rock'n Roll.

  • When Cambodian count our blessings,Sin Sisamouth are alway included, and when ever we count our curses and misfortunes, the name pol pot and hun sen alway popped up.

  • Hey people, this man,the only man that has golden voice in srork khmer. When I see his family,I felt so sad for them.Especially, his wife, she lives with her husband so long all the sudden he gone, oooooh that is heart ache. And I admire to all the khmer classic singer. That they did use all their afford to sing each song.Thank to them, and to you.........Khmerak008, thanks for sharing the videos .

  • We wouldn't listen to his music if we didn't like it so much,we love his music so much because it brought so much joy into our lives,we have to extend the same kind of joy and love back to his families, make sure they are all happy just as he made us all happy,i'm sure that is his wish. His music make us think, laugh, cried and fall in love.may he rest in peace, his music continue to inspire and guide many young and upcomming artists to make great music.

  • I competely agree with you 100% KhmerSerey1, His music just like a Lay

Potato Chips " I bet you can't just eat one." If you listen one getting to your

ear if you listen twice than you realize Oh! this song is about somebody or

someone you might know. An amazing is, it was sang 30 plus years ago

and still fitting our live as today. That's so call "LEGEND"

  • It's a beautful gestures for the king khmer music,he gave so much to us all,he left behind so many beautiful music for us all to enjoy at wedding, birthday, new years, almost every holiday occasion we would play sin sisamouth music,we have to honor the man for his gifts to us all,may his spirit rest in peace knowing that we will preserve his music for future generations,he is loved and missed by every Cambodian, there'll never be another like him.
