@acoustic61 Thanks so much! I'll have to include myself in that "show us" Tall Fiddler!! Closest I get to something fast of Tommy's is Blue Moon and Angelina! No flat picking for this old folkie! I appreciate your good words though!! Cheers, BB
Hi, Bunny. Sorry for the delay. I hope this message finds you in only the best of health and happiness. No, I have no postings. As far as being able to is concerned, my computer savvy is equivalent to a cave man with an "Ovation". Probably use it as a comb. Maybe if I ever figure it out. I've seen postings with visual and mouth movement, but no sound. I'm worried about doing covers, too as I am aware of some losing their accounts. 'til next time, best wishes. Mike
@mtischler1 Hi Mike! Thanks for checking in. It's great to get comments on tunes I posted a long time ago! Let's me know there's a reason for keeping them up! You can always thank the original and post no intention on claiming it's yours. Better late than never I say! Cheers, Bunny
Bunny, I am so glad to hear that you are cancer free and hope you will be a long time posting. I've been playing guitar for over 50 years and always find tremendous players who know how to use music as a language and the guitar as a voice. you certainly are one. My next time on I will subscribe. I don't see a way to do it from this page. Peace and a great future.wished. mike
@mtischler1 Thanks so much, Mike. Do you have anything posted? I so love listening to my fellow guitarists. It was Tommy E who helped me believe I should let the guitar be my voice. If you go to my homepage (just click on forbebe) you can subscribe. I appreciate your encouragement and hope to get another tune up in the next week or two. Thakns again for the good wishes! And to you, as well!! Cheers, Bunny
I'm sure you'll never see this as I am a very late comer to your video, but you really are a joy to listen to. Beautifully played. I'm sure your throat is healed by now, year 2011, but all the best wishes, anyway. mike
@mtischler1 Thanks so much! I read all my comments and they are all, no matter when, appreciated! I'm 2 years cancer free now and heal a bit more every day! Thanks for the good wishes, Mike! Cheers, Bunny
@helene83 Thanks so much for your wonderful comment and subscribing. Yes, indeed, Tommy is an amazing inspiration!! You really feel your melodies you play!! Thanks! cheers, Bunny
I had to comment ... I can see and feel the joy of your playing ... great job on the song ... it's such a beautiful piece ... isn't music grand??? ... my daughter gave me tickets to TE workshop for my birthday ... I am thrilled and almost can't believe it ... I am looking forward to meeting the "Master" ... again thank you for the post ... may music continue to reign in your heart and comfort your soul ...
This is one of songs of TOmmy that touch me so deeply! so do you! There are just times it does good to here such melody, I guess I needed to hear that tonight! Thanks so much for tears you put in my eyes Bunny! :-)
did tommy sign your guitar for you?and what type of gibson is it ,just watched tommy playing it ,think another day or two you,ll be as good! i,m now a fan of yours!x
maybe when i come over in june,i,ll be staying in bedford pa,for about 3/4 weeks so may get to see tommy myself somewhere in pa ,maybe you,l be there too, this tune was played with soul and feeling i could tell it shows on your smiling face ,a pleasure to watch for me x
You played this for Tommy? You've met him? OMG...that is what I'd like to do before I die...see him play live, and to meet him....unreal! He really is a soul sent to us to bring beauty through his music I feel. I was a heavy metal fan before I heard him play....how I have changed!
Yes, when he performed in NJ. I saw him three times in one week. Twice in PA (the videos I posted) and then NJ, where I played for him. I asked permission to post the ones "in the dark". I don't want to post the lesson unless I have permission from him. That seems more personal. It was truly a highlight of my life. He has been a Godsend for me.
Thanks so much! When I played it for Tommy last summer he said many folks have tried to play his version but it was the best he'd yet heard. I'm sure he's heard better since, but it sure was nice to hear. He is without a doubt the best and my hero!! Your version is pretty nice too! Thanks again. It means a great deal to hear that! bb
Thanks for your kind comments. A friend taped the ones of me outside at the gig. I wish I had more from that day. The one I'm using outside is an Arbor. The one with Tommy's signature is a Gibson B-25. Will try to get more posted as I heal from surgery. Thanks again. It means a lot!!
great playing! very emotional! you should rather record your songs at home, the sound quality is much better, without background noise!! wanna see more !! :)
Great work! Learning it now and this video helps :-)
