A box with Barbed wire round it,urgh...Birmingham city council demolished an amazing Victorian Building back in the 70's,built a hideous concrete thing to replace it,now they are knocking that down and replacing it with some god awful structure......Birmingham City council uses the word Forward as its motto.............There is an old saying,from native American culture I believe,to know where you are going,you need to know where you have come from.......Stop demolishing the past..
@snuffythewomble I don't know why your complaining, i'm quite frankly glad they are getting rid of the the current library and replacing it with this one as that library really is awful and im sure this one will be much of an improvement, they are not 'demolishing the past' sure that library was like you said amazing, in it's own right, but the modern world is always changing and we need to move with it and stop clinging to what once was. There's nothing wrong with change.
