Love the photos, love the music, but why have the Tibetans been given ridiculous names like Britney, Jenna and Landon in brackets after their own names? I'm talking about the beginning credits. If it's supposed to be humorous, I'm not getting it.
The people who record the music, take the photos, and make the films are all part of an English training program. They are given these English names as part of the program. They are given the choice to use them or not in their films. Because foreigners often can not pronounce Tibetan names, and because it is difficult to accessibly write Tibetan in the Roman alphabet, many students choose to use their English names. They wouldn't use the names if they thought they were ridiculous.
Great pictures, great insight, and beautiful landscape. I love this!!! Hope to see more pictures from you!!!!1
