ya glycerine is used in nitroglycerine when you mix nitric and sulfuric acid together when they are the right temperature you have to slowly drop in glycerine and mix then the nitroglycerine floats to the surface of the acids

U say glycerine use it for nitroclycerine very wrong. Nitroglycerine is synthesised by Acids and im not telling you how but any shock or temperature change will detenate it

thats why you use sawdust as an absorbent, both to get a solid explosive and more stable (;
anyways NG is quite dangerous to synthesize.. but you need glycerine for it so its not wrong to say he uses it for making NG
