Nothing havent been proved (or I havent heard about it), but mine and most people opinion is that he died because of drinking. I've heard that he did only drink after Sentenced ended.

actually he had started having a drinking problem during sentenced but it got out of control when they broke up and he also had a genetic heart disease which led to a heart attack. its kinda weird sentenced was reall all about lost hope death and sadness but in a very beautiful way...and after they brok up he passes kinda like he was living for the band....i also think in my opinion he truly was thats why his drinkin got worse...he missed his love....music.....R.I.P. Miika Tenkula, we miss you!
