Around 1993 a friend of mine was dying of aids and he was very young but to old for "Make a wish foundation" . My Friend Jorge adored Laura Dern and his last wish was to meet her or talk to her on the phone. I sent out all the paper work that MAF told me to do to make this happen.After 3 letters to her publist,agent,and manager nothing. A phone call from Make a wish still NO! Then i ask for a sighned pix , NO! I send 1 letter to Liz taylor and she sent that week a card and sighned pix.DERN=pig

@TAD761 Elizabeth Taylor I promise you gets more letters by the thousands. And in less than a week Elizabeth responded quickly and with class. Most people if you asked them who is Laura Dern? Very few people would know her compaired to if you asked people have you ever heard of Elizabeth Taylor. Their was a total of 27! One letter sent 3 times to 3 different people who work for her and zero responds. Plus a call from M.A.W foundation still nothing. ONE letter to ET and BOOM a letter & a card.

@TAD761 I did this for my friend because he adored DERN. I personally never could stand LD's movies or anything about LD. But it wasnt about me it was Jorges wish. The people I contacted told LD it's their job to tell her. LD must really be a bad fuck Billy Bob dumped her for Jolie and now her current husaband just filed for divorce from her. Or maybe she's just a self centered bitch? Probably both. I don't understand how anyone could not at least send a signed pix? I sent a S.A.S.E also.
