  • this car is rubbish if you havent got a powerfull battery

  • the only thing Losi has on traxxas is the shocks.....everything else traxxas is wayyyyyyyyyy better its like racing a rustang against a Ferrari....

  • Isn't he from Traxxas L0L

  • does it go off road???

  • rustler vxl is supported by traxxas really well warranty and stuff, now comes with 2.4ghz link and waterproof. even comes brushless RTR out of the box. strong truck

  • Ok Alan Nerdstien.

  • losi left out the balls hahahahahahhahahahahaha

  • losi speed t or rustler vxl???

  • @y0rkie1011 rustler vxl! all the way bro

  • i hav losi speed t and it wont move, there is a orange light on the excelleron , does any one know what it means?

  • i would have suspected him to say this is the car sonic would use :3

  • THE ONLY REASON YOU DONT SEE IT GO 65 BECAUSE IT DOES NOT GO 65 PILE OF SHIT LOSI

  • Comment removed

  • only joking m8 i love this car

    NNNNNOOOOOTTTT

  • bet my rustler vxl would wupp that that slow t any day rustler vxl 70 mph losi sucks traxxas owns

  • @mathew6593 traxxas blows dick quality wise... everything they make breaks easy

  • BAHAHAHAHA losi leaves out the balls!!! lmao...

  • @buttdud1122 That is funny haha.

  • I swear I thought I was going to watch it go 65 mph but I didnt see i run :(

  • this or rustler vxl? reply asap

  • @moedunny23 well this is a cool truck but if u do happen to brake somthing its harder to get parts for the rustler has tons of parts avaliable

  • @rigthguard420 well my friend has 1 and i think imma get the rustler

  • I want to know if those tires (or speed NT) will fit my TenT

  • I want to know if losi speed t (or NT) will fit on my Ten-T

  • When I received my Speed-t Ball Diff is Scrape defauf And in more It is necessary that I (PAY Parts Ball Diff) Is Disconinued He make it He make it in no way ?

IS VERY BOSHIT Speed-T No Service .

  • does it come with a battery

  • i got one its gr8 its worth 500 euro

  • its got no BALLS compared to a rustler vxl

  • how much is it total with all the mods

  • i have this car and a traxxas rulster good cars

  • does this car only run on LiPo batteries

  • no you can use NIMH 6-7cell

  • is it 4wd ?

  • No, 2wd

  • how much

  • cool car

  • which one is better for bashing rustler or this?

  • hey

    i wouldn't recommended losi t for bashing

yeah traxxas rustler is better for you application

  • Is the t4 cheaper.

  • so please if you wanna bash the rustler just remeber it is like having a model t with a new engine compared to a modern car so recognize it for what it is a truely tried and tested desiegn that is far older then most still out there let alone having brushless on that old of it too.

Sorry but in that respect I have a huge respect for the rustler desiegn that has been proven able to go 80mph with certain mods and other things

I am sure the speed t is a great truck although the vxl is too

  • Like i said to many others, their both ok. but if your wishing for out of the box drive. Speed-T gives you full speed and fully programmable ability. VXL doesn't.

For bashing, VXL has better ability for power and fun, but you would need atleast new casterblocks and alum shocks. Speed-T would just need a new Tranny(case/DT gear diff) and probably some tires if people don't like them.

  • Ether way they both come to the same money wise to fix for that. But still the Speed-T comes higher for that programmable ability.

  • O and losi adjustable shocks threads and a nice servo saver, unlike the Traxxas odd servo saver.

So in trimming wise also. Speed-T right on.

    Rustler? nope.

  • LOL imac g4!!

  • is that chip whatever something like ECU for cars? i don knaw much bout electrics

  • Is this thing comparable to a T4 excluding the electronics?

  • no, the t4 is much better

  • Why, not that I would rather have this over a stampede or rustler vxl

  • i hate this car

  • Losi Speed-T or Traxxas Rustler VXL or HPI E-firesttorm for offroad racing and bashing

  • e- firstorm

  • Nice truck i have one but my rustler would kick its ass

  • i agree

  • Hahaha, yeah right.

  • That car is sexy.....

  • wouldnt happen to have a setup guide on how to use the programming card?

  • at 1:30 he tells you to put the pins on the settings you want and just plug it in...

  • We have one for 5 days and we run on 3s lipo.

Nuts go loose on the steering, Esc smells like burned plastic, the only thing that is realy good is the radio system.

The car is sometimes vibrating and the whire from the min of the condensator is getting red hot.

  • im getting this rather than vxl cos it got 2.4ghz radio

  • only good thing is the radio system

  • what kinda battery do you get with it or do you have to buy a seperate one..?

  • you have to buy one

  • I'm not feeling this model. I mean who says "hey! I wanna drive on-road, but have a big stadium truck that handles like shit"

  • i love there intro music

  • +5mph and almost $-100 and get the traxxas bandit vxl its a win win situatin

  • There is ~$20 difference in the price of the Speed-T and the Rustler. And you get that crap ass TQ-2 radio instead of Spektrum with the Rustler.

  • There is $30 difference between the Speed T and VXL and the Losi comes with Spektrum over the 20 year old crap that Traxxas has, aluminum threaded shocks instead of plastic crap and a higer KV motor which will go alot faster on low end batteries

  • no there both 350kv...the speed-t at hobbyzone is 325 to get the rustler vxl and hobbytown its 275,and its faster, and teh tq is actucally sa good radio, and the rustler goes faster for less money

  • 3500kv

  • no 4800kv for losi 3500kv for traxxas. and 2et, the Rustler needs to be gear changed to hit 70mph. losi speed-t doesn't. just place in a 3cell lipo and you can hit 65+ easily.

  • yea but stock the rustler has higher top speed and acc with a regular 6 cell nihm pack and still higher top speed and its made for both street and dirt now lets see the speed t in dirt

  • OMG you have to change gears is it to fucking hard for yout to do so you condem the rustler jesus christ make a sound argument like well how much you would spend to get a rustler to have 2.4ghz or if the speed-t can hit 75 stock except gearing because there is vid showing it done with a rustler vxl

  • losi is still alot better than any of the traxxas range they are fast as fuk but so are all brushless if geared right

  • flip out would you.

65mph with 90spur/19pinion and 3cell lipo. Power right there.

Rustler VXL stock power with 3cell Lipo around 50mph 83spur/25pinion.

  • wow this shows you're true ignorance

that just shows the difference in the kv of the motors retard because according to you're judgment a nue 1515 1y then would be a really really week motor because it would be slow on 3s no matter the gearing

also if you are so worried by gears then gtfo of the hobbie not to mention on 3s and separate gearing which has the higher speed recorded not to mention the fact that it is designed for off road not purposely for on road so in that aspect the losi fails

  • Ignorance, well if i was that ignorance, i wouldn't respond back now would i?

Gearing effect the speed and power,no matter if it's brushless or not.

And from gearing, Gearing 90Tooth Spur (48pitch) which is the highest gearing for most common use stuff, that can keep the Gear cover on still. and 19tooth pinion (48pitch) is pretty small. now this setup hitting 65mph with 3cell Lipo.thats a pretty high gearing setup.

Now the Rustler has to gear Lower setup to hit 70mph.which is 76toothspur -

  • - 31tooth pinion. the lower KV = more torque. the higher KV = more RPM's. i believe every Hobbyshop racer/etc knows this. Higher RPM's give more speed and can take less power to give a high good speed. So Traxxas VXL motor is only a 10.5T 3500kv motor. Lots of Torque and not much speed. so giving the gearing change, it harness's the Torque power into Speed when geared lower (smaller spur/larger pinion = lower gearing. | Larger spur/smaller pinion = higher gearing.) -

  • And in most common known Brushless systems, the tops power max is ether 12cells for NIMH's or 3cell Lipo. anything higher then this is not recommend and will ether blow up your ESC.

Apparently losi doesn't Fail. their XXX has been a huge hit since they first came out. And thats what the DT and Speed-T are. -

  • Sure the Speed-T has lame wheels and a stupid diff. 80$ more and your a monstar Speed-T. what can 80$ do in the Rustler? hmm not much. not even a 2.4ghz radio system Which the Losi has placed in on the Speed-T.

As for your mister know it all. Losi has in their Xcelorin. PC programmable ability to change anything in the ESC set. So i could do Full power. 50% bash, 30% letting noobs drive, omg so many things i can program it to. can a VXL ESC do that? 3 profiles and out of them only 1 with 50%.

  • I'm not worried about gears.but for the fact of people that maybe are, the Speed-T comes straight out RTR and can top 65mph with no gearing change.

People looking for speed right out of the bat, Speed-T slaps it.

  • talk about flipping the fuck out

dude if you get this worked up about this your life must suck

no argument on this please but also the speed t's deseign is fairly new if I am not mistaken right? well the rustler was designedd some 15 years ago putting it before or at the dawn of brushless so it isn't like traxxas has even truely attempted at it but given there record so far I would not be surprised if they could make a better speed runner but at this point I don't really care

  • Speed-T design isn't new. few minor details of the Old XXX-T has been changed. such as thread body alum shocks, the camber screw balls, diffring lock, onroad wheels, wheelie bar motor guard, Body. Nothing else has been changed from the normal oldest XXX-T/etc. XXX chassis has been proven the best since it's firstly came out.hance why they been using it now from the other XXX-T's and the New speed-T.

  • @RCKAOS I've always been a long time traxxas owner because the parts are so plentiful they even sell them at pep boys but I've always thought losi and ae fit and finish and general look of their parts is just better. I think my next rc might be a brushless b4 or the offroad version of this.

  • its waterproff to!

  • @RCKAOS the traxxas is the best....dammn idiot!

  • @RCKAOS but the rustler can go offroad!!!

  • there are cristals but are in the transsmiter

an rc system doesnt work well without cristals or doesnt work at all so there are cristals an chanells

  • Well What you do Is buy the Car for 300, And go to cheapbatterypacks website order about 8 elite 4500 mah cells and it equals losis 8 cell pack for about 40 bucks unstead of 80$. You just have to make the packs yourself. Of course isnt that what this sports all about? going fast and saving money while doing it :-)

  • only 2 color optoins. car is not worth it at all. brother has one. i have vxl rusty, more durable, faster and easier to afford. with the speed-t u need to purchase a 2 or 3s 11v lipo battery to get to your 65 mph mark....battery atleast 150 bucks plus a lipo charger 100 bucks atleast. your looking at around 600 dollars to get her up and running..go with the VXL. the proof is in the puddin

  • my rusty vxl is crap. it never worked, i purchased it new from rc country in sacramento, it has nimh not lipo, and whenever i turn, it turns off. If you have any idea why that is please tel me.

  • dude u have to set it to nihm bat its set to lipo thats why it turns off read the manual and make sure u have it set to NIHM bats the light sould shine RED!!!!! not green!! :) np

  • ur rc goes over 65+

  • It only cost 320 not 1k

  • looks like 1k out the door minimum.. ouch for the pocket books

  • it seems kinda useless 2wd is squirrey on anything other than high grip surfaces

  • not really with street tires on pavement on asphalt thel handle fine, on dirt with dirt tires same hing.

  • ...wow...

    That's pretty cool!

I've also heard that the 2008 Team Losi Speed-T comes in black, silver, red, and blue.
