  • I also like to wear the twists by themselves.

  • a onde eu emcontro esse produto nobrasil

  • OH MY GOD I CANT WAIT TO BE NATURAL!!!

  • :0 my dace when she took out her twist wow beautiful i need to buy this stuff

  • the music always makes me wanna go to sleep

  • she had to hold that smile for awhile

  • I have two textures of hair. The left side starts off wavey and then turns straights. The right side is wavey. How can I maintain a curly wave pattern on the left side of my hair?

  • what hair type is she?

  • Where can you buy this at?

  • @hazelyRo TARGET SALES IT

  • I just finished watching this video and her hair looks great and I just realized that she is a friend of mine that I've been looking for. I want to know how I can get in touch with her or how mine information could be forward to her.

  • I actually remember my twistouts taking half the time and came out more defined when I had shorter hair, so I disagree.

  • Why don't you all use some females with short hair. Long hair is easier than short. So we need to know how to do the short hair twist out curls.

  • they shoulda have the narrator from the mcdonalds commerical with blak ppl narrate this

his voice has soul to it lol

  • Am I the only person that always likes the "Before" shot better???

  • do you have to use curly pudding

  • @princessgboro im trying gel

  • Can you do this on relaxed hair tOo??

  • @SingingGoddess16

If your talking about the twist out you totally can

there is actually a lot of relaxed people on here who

do it to stretch the relaxer just type in Twist out on relax hair it will

    bring their videos up.

  • luuuuuuuuvvv ittttt

  • her hair is all ready curly ,so thats why her hair came out more defined.

  • how is the pudding if mixed with gel??? i like to lay dwn my edges?? do it build up????

  • How long does it take to do all those twists? How long ould the style last?

  • very interesting, never thought i'd have use for my blowdryer now that i'm natural since i do bantu knots all the time... i didn't think it give a twistout so much volume, i prefer this over diving the sections over and over

    BTW i love her lips!!!

  • ok, this is georgeous srsly

  • My mom bought this and we haven't even used it yet :(

  • THAT looks great but didn't work for me.

  • Luv IT

  • this is gorgeous luv it

  • I love her makup...so fresh

  • His lisp is funny

  • beautiful lips and hair

  • 10 people put it on the hair when it was dry....WRONG ! i am sooo shoving this down my MOMS wallet ! =) lovee it.

  • OMG ! YES.... i am soo showing this in my moms wallet ! love it ! =)

  • she was gorgeous, and the hair was too :)

  • I'm wondering if it'll work on short hair the same way. I've been using curling mousse and foam rollers for 6 weeks now, and it looks frizzy after the first day. It's good that I don't press it anymore, but I would like something shiny and neat like that.

  • How long do you think it took to twist all the hair! Thats crazeh my hands would be fallin' off...Cute look though!

  • Great transformation. I do need something to redue the frizz in my twist outs. This might work.

  • Question: Does it matter which direction you twist your hair? Will it look better if you go with your curl pattern? Is this something I can do on my own?

  • She's so pretty, I forget about the hair!

  • I don't see why people are being so negative. There is a clear difference between before and after, and it's beautiful. I would love to try out one of Miss Jessie's products.

  • Her hair looks goooood with the twist outs.

I'm gonna try twist outs, but first I'll wear my hair in twists. I'll do the twist out for my job interview this Friday.

Wish me luck, guys! (Or pray if you believe in the Father).

  • this is cute, I can't wait until a year from now when my hair will be longer and I can wear these hairstyles...thanx for posting

  • did she take out the twists she did before she blow dried or did she just blow dry? And is this for a certain her type? HELP! I'M SOOOOO CONFUSED!

  • I have a question.....Was the model's dry hair cut into a shape or was that how her hair naturally grows out?

  • i l0o0o0ove this guys voice lol

  • Black American Hair Rules!!!

  • @2561243 Black Hair Rules... Blacks arent only in America you know

  • @Chani14922 black hair worldwide rules :)

  • @2561243 YES NATURAL CURLY HAIR. YES EXCELLENT VID i pray her shop much success adn business.

  • nice video, i'm going to try it. the model is gorgeous.

  • thats absolutely my hair type!!!

  • this takes forever! is this a one day hairstyle or is it possible to maintain?? Anyone know?

  • @Pearl6191 Depends on the hair and how you sleep - twist outs without product last anywhere from 2-4 days for me! my hair is 4b, I think.

  • I wish I could see more men represented in the natural hair community. DOn't get me wrong I love you ladies but there are a lot of guys in the natural hair community and I feel that sometime we are completely forgotten. But great video, too bad Miss Jessie's doesn't work on my 4c hair :-(

  • I see the obvious difference love it

  • And you want me to do this everynight???

  • Who is the narrator with t his french accent?

  • @BlkCoffi I don't think he is french, I' m french and I could hear french accent far away, I think he's indian or something else lol

  • is it just me or does she look BETTER in the before picture

  • shes hot.. no homo.

  • What if you don't have a dryer? It's still ok to airdry, right?

  • How do you MAINTAIN this hair style? I'm thinking of trying it today...

  • Nice technique is using heat the only way to get the fullness? I feel that heat styles sort of work against what we try to do with our natural hair, and that's keep it feeling moisturized.

  • Finally someone with my kind of hair!!!

Would this method still work well if I use the silkening creme? That's what I have now, and that stuff is expensive.

  • i wish i had the models hair and her lips!she is so beautiful

  • What is the difference between the silkening cream and Just for me texture softner? Also, can curly pudding be used on 5 months post texture softened hair? Thank you in advance.

  • nice demo, the results were very nice but i dont know if its worth all that money, i have cheaper products that will give me the same results for a fraction of the cost. I dont have anything against miss jessies i have always wanted to try your products but its just never affordable for me. I was so jealous of the audience on Tyra banks shoe when they all received free miss jessies products..i wish i was there.

  • Shea moisture products work very well for twists and twist outs and for only half of the price of Miss Jessie's product. And you can buy it at Target Stores.

  • I have the same texture!!! I can't wait to try this look:)) I could only find the products online, so I'm going to order them tonight!

  • can you say heat damaged ends?

  • This may have been answered but I was wondering if it matters if you use hot or cold air from the hair dryer when creating volume. Thanks and keep up the great work!

  • @sylviaadk I usually use a low pressure cool setting to pull the curls out and create volume. I found that the heat temperature doesn't make a difference when it comes to the volume plus a cool setting doesn't cause as much damage (which is always a plus). I only use a mid to high heat when straightening my hair. Happy Twisting 8-)

  • I don't have culry hair & i have a relaxer & im wanted a new look for this years picture day & my question is can you use he Ms. Jessie products if you have a relaxer & if I can where can I get them?

  • I'm a fan of miss jessies now! :))

  • do they seelll these products in england i wnt smee !!!!! :))))))))))

  • thats too cute!

  • I love miss jessies products

  • i like before better

  • lol "if you like your hair closer to your heard"

lmao i thot your hair was always close to ur head

haha this voice over cracks me up

  • i love the elevator music :)

  • My local sallys doesn't have the pudding, where else could I buy it from?

  • @OwnageProductionz

    Target sales it!

  • Hey ninja turtle. I miss you

  • She is the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I really miss her.

  • She's the most beautiful woman I've ever seen. I miss her terribly.

  • Will Miss Jessies ever come to the afro hair and beauty live show in england? Also, if you have a z formation - can u do styles without blowdrying?

  • This is exactly my hair texture! I have a tub of curly pudding that I purchased at the World Natural Hair show in Atlanta in April that I've never used. I'm off to do a twist out right now! Thanks for the video

  • FABULOUS! This twist out is really nice! Where can I get Miss Jessies?

  • I don't know if my other comment went through, but I said curly butter instead of curly pudding... soo sorry! :P

  • I just bought some curly butter and am about to do some twists!!! So pumped! But I'm gonna leave my twists in for a couple days and moisterize with the buttercreme until I do my twist out! :D Loved the vid, your model is beautiful!

  • shes gorgeous <3

  • i have hair very similar to hers what is her texture

  • To be honest, I like the Before and the After. One is more defined, the other is less defined.

  • LOL her hair is nice

but when he was like ''look at the difference before and after''

I was thinking LIPSTICK!!! hahaha ;-)

  • @lisalilsmartass Hi the difference is she no longer has frizz, dry, shrunk strands of hair. the lipstick is part of the transformation and she requested it, i hope this information helps your inquiry.

  • @curlsgolore Yeah I can see the difference, I was joking

  • @lisalilsmartass - I think anyone with a kinky hair texture can see the obvious before and after. IMO both are nice and the model is gorgeous, but the after certainly provides more movement and bounce

  • @lisalilsmartass there is a big difference! really dont you see it?

  • wooo..it looks like most of the models that they have do these demos have a texturizer..nothing wrong with it..

I have heard that their products are great, I hope to use them soon =)

  • Will this work on transitioning hair?

  • Will this work on 3c hair? My curls are clearly visible, but the hardest part is the frizz. Also, I heard its best to use curly meringue on 3c hair, because the pudding is to heavy on it. May you help me on this?

  • Will this work on 3c hair? My curls are clearly visible, but the hardest part is the frizz. Also, I heard its best to use curly meringue on 3c hair, because the pudding is to heavy on it. May you help me on this?

  • i liked it before it was streched

  • Mm it has mineral oil in it I was not aware of this...not buying this product again.

  • I have a few questions would be nice if someone could awnser me:

    1. )How long does a twist out like this last, 2 to 3 days or longer?

2.) Is that really a prodcut you just can leave in, or does the hair feel greasy after drying?

    Thanks beforehand ; )

  • what the models name

  • my oldest daughter's hair looks just like that before they start twisting. It's beautiful especially with her being mixed with black, asian, and hispanic. But and she's got her daddy's girls!

  • thats my hair! X)

  • Wow she is like the prettyest woman ever... I love her twist out as we'll..

  • her and her hair is gorgeous...but like everyone says hair typing is so confusing I could have sworn she was 4a with little bit of 4b...looks like a great product

  • You do not need any expensive hair product like the miss jessies to get your two strand twist-outs to look good. I am sure the product works well but you can get great hair without the cost. You can use some EcoStyler Gel (oilive oil or the clear one), keep condish in and seal with shea butter, olive oil or coconut butter.

  • @TheBlackRawFoodist I agree with you 100%.... i just do mine on dry hair with olive oil and taliah waheed protective mist bodifier.. and it comes out nice... smmfh at this video.. lol

  • I'm not knocking anybody who loves their relaxers/and or weaves. I used to rock them myself but for a long time there's been something within me that constantly urged me to wear and embrace my natural hair. I'm so glad I listened to my "inner voice". For me, no more relaxers or weaves. I'm loving my hair so much, I named her "Sasha". LOL, but I'm dead serious! It's soooo good to see so many natural sisters on YT. DO YOUR THING BLACK WOMEN!!

  • @GetTheLook2010 Sasha, sounds fierce!

  • i seen this girl on TV before.

  • Does this model has a silkener?

  • A friennd at work told me about this product. I started researching it and found this video. I am lovin' it. This is something that I can handle myself without having to spend a lot of money at the hair salon. I love the model's smile. Very pretty. Finally, does anyone know the name of the background song and the artist?

  • It's probably just a song they had someone make to play in all of their videos (so you aren't infringing on someone else's stuff, you know how that goes) It is nice though!

  • Her hair pattern is close to mine. I would like to see this pattern in a fingerstyle video since she does have a natural curl pattern. Would be nice to see the results of that. I would not have time to do all those twists! :-) the style looks lovely though.

  • @teaberry73 yeah mines too...I'm like that's how it's going to turn out i'm loving it :)

  • too cute..I will try this.

  • I'm confused. You say she's 4b, but to me, she looks 4a. From what I was told, 4b curls are not visible dry, and her curls are CLEARLY visible...damn, this typing system is dumb!! >:-(

  • Yes thank you. The typing system is so foolish. You can't divided all hair types by 4 damn catergories.

  • Exactly. It only serves to divide black and biracial women in regard to hair "types" and is basically an updated "good hair" vs "bad hair" type of system. It really creates sort of a hair heiarchy.

  • Going by the system, her hair is 3c towards the front and is 4a in the back

  • You are correct, the model is a 4A with some 3c. 4B has no curl pattern. They may have a "Z" pattern, but that will not produce a curl, coil or S-wave pattern even if they tried to shingle their hair. A 4B can achieve an S pattern style by doing a twist out or braid out. Not only that a person can also have multiple textures on one head. Many 4A's believe they are 4B because of the density and volume of their hair because of the way it looks when it's dry without any water based product.

  • @coilykinks I agree with you

  • @sugarcane91 typing system is dumb that's why I think people like us shouldn't do type casting because it's really unfair. there are clearly more curly woman in the world black white etc but we are consider to be at the bottom of the chart. something seems fishy about it

  • @sugarcane91 I agree you're right you can see their curls before they've started

Most Black diasporic womens african roots descend from west Africa and so most of us have inherited 4c hair hair that you cant see any curls in just frizzy fuzziness.

So yes more 4c women please because the majority of black women have that kind of hair...it would just be more like reality

  • @Applebaum actually the majority of black women do not have 4c hair. Most black folk have multiethnic ancestory, so the size of one's kinks is a good guess. You'd be surprised how "Nappy" curls hair looks when the curls have not been defined. I remember being shock when my friend with natural hair came to school one day, and her hair was curly......But I'm totally with you on the 4c thing, we need more styling options!!

  • @sugarcane91 Personally, I don't pay too much attention to "hair-typing". I don't know my texture/curl pattern, but my main concern is using products that work well for me and help me to achieve the style I'm going for.

  • @sugarcane91 Just like curls vary in size, the kinks in the 4b texture vary in size. 4b simply means that your doesn't spiral the way coils and curly hair does. Her 4b hair is looser in texture that the 4b hair we are used to seeing. I'm glad Miss Jessies featured her, most people don't know that 4b textures can be loose.

  • @sugarcane91 i thought she was 4a too

  • @sugarcane91 What exactly are you referring to when you say she's 4a or 4b? I am new to this and would like to know since I am considering doing this to my hair. I am embracing my natural hair like so many other sisters are!

  • how would you reccomend maintaining hair at night?

  • wear a silk cap

  • She is gorgeous. But I think her hair must be thick because of the dryer and all this gel... no ?

  • I dont really like the the after it looks similar to the before.

  • @chickhabit28 No, you can clearly see the difference between the before and after. The before looked good, but the after looks fuller and has more movement.

  • this is exactly my hair texture.

  • that model is pretty :)

  • I thought that 4b had no curls. I thought that her hair was 4A? so confusing - hair typing.

  • no 4b, has curls, your hair is curly all the way up to about level 2 texture hair. Hair type1 ia completely straightm, juz Google it, LOL ;D

  • @SuperRandomProfile you are right 4b does has curls woman like cynthiarf who has 4b hair shows that. ;)

  • It would take forevery to do all those twists.

  • i don't think i've ever realized how beautiful full lips are until this video...but that's beside the point. QUESTION: what's the purpose of ["pulling hair strands to see the elongation?"]

  • Hi 78bison,

this is so you are aware the length of hair before you style it, also this shows how the hair looks before you start to style, so when you are finish you see the difference. i hope this information helps and thank you for your important question. Much love and respect from Miss Jessie's

  • Her hair looks great before and after.

  • what is her hair texture because everyone in these videos seem to have nice textures of hair. what about us with hair that is totally kinky

  • Hi Jnh1107

Our models hair texture is a 4b, we will feature soon more videos with various curly hair textures.

  • I understand what you mean, however, all hair is nice. We with 4c pattern have to learn what works best for our hair. It is just as beautiful when we use the proper products.

  • i find that to be true!

  • Hi jnh1107,

please check our other videos, they feature more curly textures. Much love and respect from Miss Jessie's.

  • @curlsgolore She said KINKY not curly

  • @jnh1107 she's about a 4b... that is a very common texture... I'm a 4a/4b

  • @jnh1107

Are you saying that your texture isn't nice? Change the view of your hair.

  • @jnh1107

Are you saying that your texture isn't nice? Change the view of your hair.

  • @jnh1107 Are you saying that your texture isn't nice? Change the view of your hair.

  • @jnh1107 what do u mean "nice texture"? does kinky mean ugly texture? she looks like a 4a

  • Idk if im a 4a or 4b or 4c lol.. Its like my texture changes depending on what i do to it. If i do NOTHING to it, its looks like a

4c. If i wash and/or blow dry it, it looks

4b. If i wash and put that pudding in it, it looks 4a. Im confused

  • Now i wanna buy some of this stuff lol

  • so once its done...how do u sleep without losing the curl

  • so i'm guessing ms. jessie's products are only for natural hair??

  • my hair is relax then, its a tcb that i have. I want the twists but don't know how to get them to look fluffy.

  • It's not going to look fluffy if you have a relaxer.

  • will this work if one has a month old perm in their hair?

  • Comment removed

  • Probably not. It looks better on natural/unrelaxed hair.

  • I agree with you iheartgeekrock and this is one of the reasons I went natrual because natruals have more fun!!!!! I forgot about all the things we can do to our hair great video

  • My niece looks like a younger version of this model - she is only 4 but i reckon she will look like this model when she get older

  • AND YOUR POINT???/ GOD!!!
