  • His voice was changeing

  • Michael was having a rough night- he just couldn't hit the high notes on this one- he was probably exhausted.

  • omgosh, his voice!!! i love it! :D

  • this is defintely fromjapan because he sounds exactly the same from the livein japn album and this single was released in the winter of 73, which means it couldnt have been the children's expo.

  • at 1:53-1:55 jermiane could be a good preacher at a church.

  • The Jackson's were born to be entertainers. So much talent and dedication to their craft. I really miss these days.

  • Puberty boy lmao!

  • i just can barely here him singing

  • I think this is actually a lost clip from "Save The Children" Expo.

  • @HaliB75 No Hallelujah day wasn't recorded until after save the children. Hallelujah day was recorded in early 73 and a single in march of that year. It's live in Japan

  • This was one of the few times the Jacksons said/sung anything controversial in their (early) career. You do realize this song was about the rumored end of the Vietnam war. Back then if you said anything against the U.S. war policy & you were famous, you were taking a big risk. (See; Rowan & Martin, Eartha Kitt, The Smothers Brothers, etc.).

  • I might write a song like this just rearrange the words a bit and then sing this song in church

  • this song has such a tapping, a rhythm, it feels almost like my samba from Rio de Janeiro. So nice they were.

  • I remember this song too! MEMORY LANE!! I loved this song back in the day and now. Talk about a B side song! YES!!!

  • oooh i love this song,bt wooo his voice was changin' bt still im lovin' how they singin' it...i like his voice here

  • its weird lookin at him as little michael

    sounding like older michael lol

  • this song was on the Skywriter album from'73

  • What a lovely day for a party!!!

  • this song was on the Skywriter album in '73

  • And the funny thing about this concert was Sept '72, the song was not release until Feb '73.

  • nice song

  • I think I so Randy playing the brown drums in the background. I wondering why did they just have thier name change to the Jacksons 6 since Randy is always in the background. Randy was already on stages with his brothers from the begining.

  • why isnt this the full version

  • Chip8endale,you are lucky.

    I regreted missing this concert.

I listened to Live in Japan album like thousands times wondering how great Michael's performance was.

This song was also put in the album when it was first released in Japan 1973.

    Thank for uploading.

  • Thanks, I love it. I would love to hear a full quality of this performance. It seems to be a tad funkier than the studio recording.

  • Puberty happens to the best of us

  • @matsui It happens to all of us. :P

  • thank you!

  • I wonder why they didnt put this on the Live in Japan album

  • It certainly is the Japan concert in 1973 ... I, being a very small girl and crazy about Michael then, was actually there. Thanx for posting this!

  • you are so lucky now see if i was born 27 years before '89 i would definately see it
