Beastmaster 2: Through The Portal Of Time(1991)

I was in an auditorium of about 500 people on a Friday night packed to the hilt when this trailer came on. Once they showed old school Beastmaster everyone went absolutely crazy and cheered with some "Fuck yeah's" being yelled. Once he warps into the city it was the loudest boo's I have ever heard in the history of movie watching and I have probably seen over 1000 films. This movie has one of the largest sequel gaps in terms of good to bad since Caddyshack 1 vs.2.

This movie sucks, it didn't follow canonically with the first one at all. When did Dar had an older brother? Kodo died in part 1 how did he return in this movie? Podo had babies at the end of part 1 where are they now and when the f*** did Ruh had stripes when he originally was a black tiger?

I transfered this movie on DVD from my VHS. Not really bad at all guys, check it out. 3 / 5. Its a decent fantasy / sword and sorcery flick.

Like many good films that have made money, producers get greedy and curn out a crappy sequel.

Beastmaster 2 is one of these crappy sequels along with Higlander 2

wow... just, wow... HOLY CRAP WOW. Sad part is, I can see how this happened. Writer: "Man, I have no idea what the plot should be to write this squeal." Bonks head on desk. "Nothing. Nada. Ziltch. NONE." Bonks head harder. "Why, oh why, dear god did I agree to this." Hits head harder, repeats until he looses consciousness. Wakes up in hospital with 1/4 of original brain capacity. "EUREKA! IVE GOT IT!"
