Oh, it's a combination of things. Animals can see spirits that we can't see, but when cats and dogs are looking around the room, they also can hear what we don't hear. So it could be anything from a spirit, or they're hearing a mouse in the wall, or even something outside or on the other side of the wall.

that happens to me too! since my mom drops me off at home after school,im with my cat and dog.my cat LOVES this small red blanket i have,so if you just lay it out,she will get comfy on it and eventually fall asleep.even if you put the blanket over your body,she comes out of nowhere and just sits on you!so anyways,when i was alone in my room the tv wasnt turned on,i was just eating snacks.so shes looking around and then she looks in the hallway.then she jumps off and jumps on the wall im like omg

i lived in a house that was made in 1891 people next door say that they hear noises from the house 4 months after i moved in my cat was not doing anything then i bought a dog the dog went in to the basement and started barking at nothing the day after that the dog and cat went in to my room suddenly the door slammed shut i could not open the door then it opened i found the cat and dog under my bed i turned around when i was turning around i saw a shadow walking in to the living room

My cat stare sometimes on nothing too. But I don't think that she see the death, because in my house never died someone. And I don't think that a lost soul would come randomly into my house. So I think cats can see things that we can't see but it's not necessarily the death and we can't explain what it is, because we never seen it.

Cats do see more. Once my cat (which is Sparta's twin brother in look and behaviour :) saw something in the midle of empty room and got so scared thet when I took him he panicked, scratched me terribly, jumped on the fridge and dived behind it staying there for four hours! ...untill i took a driller, dissasseble some cupboard part and took him out. I couldn't keep the fridge off for whole night :) They say that cats live between this and "that" life. Was it ghost?

Some times animals play or do things with them selves , one time my aunt was down stairs and she just heard her cat running up and down the hallway , there is no spirits or malicuals in the air they are just playing with themselves . i do agree with the fact that animals can see colors that we dont. In fact, some can see more than us, a lot of the colors we can't see appear in shades from white to black. cats can see only a few colors and react to them differently, while dogs are just completely colorblind. i also get what you mean about explaining colors to others whom are colorblind...infact, my mom is colorblind and i wish that some animals and unlucky people could look at a rainbow as a pretty sight.

I could agree with that theory, I believe that cats and or dogs etc. can see other colors out of our color spectrum (the rainbow). Such as IR and UV rays. Most likely if we could see those colors of the spectrum, you would see many shapes and forms of light all over the place. This would definitely be a huge distraction to our daily routines (SCHOOL WORK ETC.) you wold probably learn a lot slower than, you do with the normal color spectrum (that we can see)
