I met this man tonight and he told me exactly why he did it this way! He was on his was to do the stretch but traffic was really bad so he got out of the car he was in, had to run into Wrigley, run up ALL of the stair into the press box. As soon as he walked into the press box, he was handed the mic and was told that he was on. Winded, he did the stretch as quickly as possible.
