I can't help but to think that the two guys in this movie both resemble two rock stars who did die at the age of 27.....was this the whole point?
Kurt Cobain and Tom Evans....Badfinger sung Paul McCartneys song called "If ya want it here it is ...come and get it" and Kurt was highly influenced by the beatles.

Joe DOES look amazing!
His friend (in the movie), Tom, he reminds me of Tom Evans of Badfinger (if anyone is familier with that 70's band). His bandmate and friend, Pete Ham, killed himself in 1975, and is a 27. Tom killed himself in 1983.
I dunno. I think it's just so weird the guy who kills himself's name is Tom.....and he resembles Tommy Evans too. Sorry, I'll stop rambling.
