I think Keichi has become a part of heaven because there are so many references: abiity to use goddess powers (and withstand attacks from demons), his conversation with God and his love for Belldandy. He knows her from childhood, but never questioned any decision she makes, even if she decided to leave him: his love made her return. I really love this manga!
Re: Keiichi's status. If you follow the manga, his parents are equally weird. His mother is unusually empathic & kicks the goddesses' butts in Mahjong; dad's ability on a bike is inhuman. He may have even figured out what the goddesses are.
It's hinted that an alien race showed up on earth just to be repaired by Keiichi & he saves another race from extinction. He also managed to deliberately phone the Goddess Help Line once, and even supported an angel (&used her combat mode) for a while.
Keiichi is not a god though i don't think he is a normal human in species, for example lord of terror takes him over he resists, celestin takes him over he fights back and reclaims his body, urd controls him he resists he is strong willed but only human not god
You're correct, he is a little less normal. They've stated in the Angel Eater arc and a few other places that he's been altered by the love and concern of so many goddesses. In the novel, it's stated also that the power radiated from 3-4 goddesses around him all the time has made him a singularity.
