i have the evo. to be honest the battery life is weird bcuz it has varied from 4 to 15 hours. its ok if it runs out in four hours bcuz it only takes 30 to 60 min at-most to charge to full battery. i had the iphone but changed to evo because i would leave the iphone charging over night (9:30pm for example) and it would be fully charged at 11am...wtf ..also i prefer an open platform phone ..not one thats dictated by its company. jailbroken iphones do wat regular android phones can do :p dont hate

As to loading faster which iphone are you comparing I'm willing to put my iphone 4 from Verizon up against any android phone anytime anywhere and put up big money too..! iPhone is and always will be on top..!

Sigh, Apple fanboys are so desperate to catch up that they are now resorting to using telco company speed tests to benchmark their beloved Iphones. Any Android 2.3 phone running on the same network as the Iphone 4, can load pages twice as fast, even with flash enabled. By the way, this is not a proper test. A test needs to have all factors, except for the tested variable, constant. This one has two variables, so it cannot determine the exact factor causing the difference in speeds.

@oneoeyet good point! PS: I'm not a fanboy!! I stil have my old sony ericsson without touch screen. Apple's strategy was nice to remove flash as, apart from ads, flash is pretty useless. Plus, all the major online video companies, news companies and such (Youtube, Dailymotion, CNN, BBC) etc. have provided free apps for the phone.
Agreed the Android devices are good for multitask, flash etc. However, they still glitch. Therefore, performance-wise nothing beats the iphone yet*

i have the evo. to be honest the battery life is weird bcuz it has varied from 4 to 15 hours. its ok if it runs out in four hours bcuz it only takes 30 to 60 min at-most to charge to full battery. i had the iphone but changed to evo because i would leave the iphone charging over night (9:30pm for example) and it would be fully charged at 11am...wtf ..also i prefer an open platform phone ..not one thats dictated by its company. jailbroken iphones do wat regular android phones can do :p dont hate

@footballwill32 wrong again! flash is one of the reasons the battery life on these htc phones are so bad. flash is an application that has to run another file inside of an application that spells bad battery. add up all the apps running in the background that equals dead battery by noon time while the iphone still runs. flash is not all that great for mobile phones it wrecks havoc on the batteries. flash was designed for pc let it stay there

Sprint and Verizon have a shared data agreement. This may explain why they completed at the same time and why they were slower. Run the test again, but only two at a time...e.g. iPhone vs. Evo, iPhone vs. Droid, Evo vs. Droid for a real compare.

If you want a bit of a better screen ,and possibly more battery time ,then you get an iphone 4..but if your looking for futuristic type features then it would have to go to android ..i have an evo4g and all the features such as hotspot ,the amazing navigation system .flash player ,to get that full web experience ..and of course 4g speeds ..+ the 4.3inch screen ..and camera ..and the list can just keep on and on..thats what the iphone laks in thinking ahead.and i kno ive had the iphone

booooo i phone4, it sucks so bad that it needs Droids wi-fi hotspot to be just as fast as the droid but still 4 seconds slower, pple do these test in the City, in the county Droid wins all the time, like we did a test and saw that droid videos were in HD when iphone4 wasnt it needed wi-fi to make the Videos clear WFT is that, lol anyways if u agree commnt back

depends where you are in the country as well, the evo was also loading flash content. overall the 4g network is the future of smartphones and is generally a lot faster than any 3g phone. i tested my iphone with the evo and was destroyed by the evo4g

I don't really need speed that much. Just think about it, do those 1 or 2 seconds really matter. I would have to say I would go with the cheapest one. "4g" is all marketing.
