Tecnohunk, I know this is an old comment but I feel the need to point out that communism (small c) does not equal Communism (the system devised and expanded upon by Marx, Engels, Lenin and others).. these Communist ideas encompassed not just economics but social and political structures as well, and are quite separate from the concept of communal sharing (which has worked quite well in hippie communes, for example).
