@Diablon its aether not ether. Aether is my favourite move ike posses other than counter and ether is an item in pokemon that restores one of your pokemons moves pp up by 10.

Ike can't grab the ledge more than 5 times when using Ether, that's why you died at the end.. I don't think he's is a good character for Cruel Brawl for this reason :/

You have to touch the ground every 5 Ether, maybe a ledge attack or a well spaced Fair/Nair would work better than just Ether-ing on the stage..

Anyway you still got the sticker right? x)

It was good but i got 17 Ko's doing the same thing except there's a better way to do it. It let's you spike them with his up B a lot easier. You just turn around, i know it sounds dumb but if me or my friend were able to show you, you would understand.

Pikachu is way easier. Jump of the ledge, press down B and then up B back up to the ledge.

Holy &@%#! Nice man! I've tried using Ike (my specialty character) in CB but I always used my quick draw(side b) or up smash. I'm gonna try this right away!

thats much easier and it´s not so dangerous like with Ike

you just have to fly little circals around the edge

with his multiple jump and his up-B that should be no problem

I think he's the hardest hitter in the game. He may be slow, you just gotta know how to play wit him. On SSBM Roy is unstoppable if someone knows what they're doing. Ike has more combos than Roy and I like it.

you know, you can do it a bit lower so that they'll chase you down a bit more and won't have a chance to hit you, also when they're under you, you can spike them with down air

Works really similarly (but I think more effectively) with Kirby's final cutter where the action of driving into the ledge will cause a semi-powerful spike to many alloys at once. Ike's is a bit unreliable cause he could misinterpret the ledge anytime and also that he can't puff away to safety (in the air) and do the up-B. I like Kirby's one better

you can only grab the edge a certain amount of times withen a either a period of time or you have a certain amount of times you can grab it with out standing on the stage once more

You could do it with Kirby's sword better, it lets out the stream and causes damage to the people who are trying to attack. Also if you use Jigglypuff to fly under the stage, you'll get a whole lot of ko's!

i got 60 using pit just jump of stage and use all ur jumps to stay a ittle close but far to the right of the stage.. some will suicide. then when u lose all ur jumps go really really low below the ledge. then up directly up. more will suicide.. do it over and over. really ez fast

I actually tried fighting them with Aetherspam. I killed seven! (Then got spattered.) The first hit on Aether has a surprisingly strong launch, especially on Alloys and the like.

You can score quite a lot of computer self-destructs by baiting them to chase you off the edge with flying characters (Pit is probably the best).

Henry, I've yet to find a strategy as easy as this. Pit's isn't as good.

Plus, this isn't really a self-destruct, you're actually hitting them down, and their bad recovery helps you finish them.

I came across this strategy on my own early this morning, mostly by accident, I was just trying to use all heavy characters so I wouldn't die so easily and while using Ike I was falling off the stage and some of the alloys followed so I did the Aether and grabbed on to the edge and saw that 3 of them went down and I kept trying it and I got 5 the first time and I kept going like that until I got my 10 kills, but I guess I wasn't the first one... =(
