its so sad to see such a great nation like sudan in ancient times that hade a big Empire like the ancient nubian or aka the ancient kushite Empire if you wont to call it that. turning into a arab country and the population keeps turning more arab how very sad in sudan give it between 2 to 400 years from now it will end up just like egypt a arab semitic country.and all the remaing history will be arab washed or should i say semitize the history.i cant belive this i hope what i say dont happen.

Well put hdjs, I'm from Southern Sudan and I'm afraid it's going to be confirmed come 2011; It's a shame really, greed that is. If only the North could realize they're NOT ARABS, and stop this rubbish Laws namely Sharia, it's far fetched. I personally wish we remained entire not as Muslims or Christian (for there's a whole eternity for that practice in afterlife) but as Sudanese!...
...You have no idea how good it sounds to say to myself "I'm Sudanese" whenever I chanced. I live in America right, but you just dont quite feel indigenous and all (put it in your mind, I Love America...there's a value to this country, an open-mindedness though it doesn't come out right at times, but this America still is the best country in the world when times are called for). You can reason in this America and dont get subpoena.
