I sure thought the "attraction" was supposed to be derived from the other person's character. People talk about "chemistry" which indicates physical lusts or appeal. Surely that comes into play to a lesser degree. But I'd rather love a faithful woman [character] than one who has a playboy bunny body. I just got my heart smashed because she said there was no "chemistry" yet we had such rapport, such fireworks, so much connection for the first month. I hate broken heartedness.

When a relationship has a history of disrespect , abuse or is more negative than positive, why stay? It doesn't matter who it is or how much they say they love you. You must love yourself first enough to say no to those people. My loving friends appeared when I began to honor myself first.

I like the diamond metaphor....raw crystalline carbon formed into something beautiful under intense pressure, and with an infinite number of sides, all reflecting the same inner fire. Every diamond is slightly unique, like us, but made of the same stuff and with the same fire inside! Change can be scary b/c of the unknown, but the outcome is always worth it when you look back. @cptrace First and foremost, everything starts with intention. Clearly set the intention to align with like-hearted, conscious community and then let it go. You don't need to think about it beyond sending the intention out to the Universe like a love letter. The key is to continue living YOUR best life, doing what you enjoy, following your heart's call, enjoying your own Presence... naturally, you will notice yourself magnetizing those who are resonant. :)

I am glad you know where you are going.  It has only taken me 61 years to understand where you are within yourself, and you have done it at a very young age. I have let go of almost all my past and living life to the fullest now. I am getting ready to leave Indiana for Texas, Southern tip of California, and travel the West Coast to Alaska taking pictures. I did the same last year from West End of Key West to Maine and back to Indiana via Niagara Falls. Keep your life headed right!

I came up with a mantra last night, and I really feel like I'll be following it for a long time to come... and that is "Live for the love of others, and you will live for the love of yourself". Like, understanding that it's all love, respecting and honoring the genius in others, and being grateful to share your gifts with the world, not being afraid to express yourself in the purest possible form.
