If there were problems in the Ed/Beth marriage, that's their business, and what long-term relationship doesn't have problems? In fact, given the level of Eddie's fame, it's remarkable that they lasted as long as they did (1984-2000 I believe) - so all credit to the both of them for trying!

Did he really leave her for model? I don't wanna judge but if I was to judge, I'd have to say that I expected better from Eddie than a typical high maintenance over priveledged model.
