what i did was entered the arena, left and shot the dogs, than killed nine toes. It's a lot easier

Yeah, I know about the difficulty scales... But That Boss is easy even whit 3 other players that suck's :P But ofc it all depends on the kinda gun you are using :D

When you plat split screen do you have to do missions with your buddy or can you run around in the world doing whatever suits you?

He can go around the world and do whatever as far as I know, except if you want to travel to a diff. area or log leg, both of you teleport.

BUT, I wouldn't do this because in co-op the monsters are tougher, so you're much better off sticking together=).

I thought that the screens in splitscreen are next to each other and not among each other. Was I just plain wrong or is their a option to change it any way you want? I prefer among each other.

I heard if you have a widescreen it's vertical(next to each other), and if you have a normal T.V it's horizontal.

Do the visuals take a hit at all in splitscreen? For example is there any significant pop-up, screen tearing or reduced detail? I think I noticed the enemies don't have shadows in splitscreen.

Haven't really paid much attention to that, but I'll be sure to check it out in future vids.

The one thing that you do notice is some slight lag during hardcore explosions/etc.

It's very slight though, and does not last long, so it doesn't affect gameplay much at all.

Oke so i figured out how to get horizontal split screen..

You have horizontal cause you dont have a Hd widescreen..

Widescreen = vertical.

Normal 4:3 = horizontal.

I was wondering if every player has to share the loot droped or is there a system for sharing the loot. My friend and I used to always spend hours deciding on who gets what on Champions

No, that's the one down-side. There's no system, so you'll have to basically decide who gets what.

It kinda sounds like a hassle, but once you get around lvl 15+ or so, so much stuff drops it's not really an issue=)

If you have widescreen the game will set it to vertical..

If you have a normal TV it sets to horizontal...

Kinda sad cause i like horizontal..

Vertical is hard to see shit on...can't really see whats happening left and right of you most times.

As player 2 I am having trouble importing my level 14 Hunter into a split screen game. When I press start on the split screen menu as player 2 it only gives me the "exit" option, not the "choose a character" option.

Is it possible to import a character into a new split screen match?

You just need to have Player 1 select their character first.
