  • Który ma więcej siły ten traxx czy ES64F4

  • @ES64F41 Trudno okreslic ,to zależy od szlaku.Z tego co słyszałem Traxx bardziej dba o maszyniste.

  • Co tak mozolnie ;D

  • przecież to CYCEK

  • Dziękujemy za ten piękny film pokazujący jak lokomotywa Traxx może ciągnąć! Ok, chciałbym użyć nieco mniej piasku, ale przynajmniej zrobiła to. Proszę mi powiedzieć, linii, stacji i jakości, jeśli wiesz!

  • @peettheengineer Hello.

Please ask this question again in English.

    Sorry

I have a problem with understanding.

    Thanks for the nice comment

  • @morfeusz120

Please tell me the location and if you know - the grade (0/oo) and the weight of the train (t). Tanks Peter

  • @peettheengineer I live in Tczew and here mainly recorded trains

This composition weighs 2,800 tons and a long hill, heavily sloped and approximately 6 km long.

All configurations have a problem here trains to ride.

As more rain falls in August is wogole slide and even the sand does not help.

    Thank you for your comments.

    Regards Chris

  • @morfeusz120 can you give me the exact coordinates of the location, where you took the video?

  • @peettheengineer Hello. Location 54° 5'2.47"N , 18°46'10.76"E Tczew

Traxx single axle control.Said auto run?

  • @morfeusz120 What is "Said auto run?". Is the train driving to the east or to the west, from the river away or to the river ?

  • @peettheengineer my guess is that the train is driving in east direction and that the grade is at least 7 o/oo according to data from Google Earth. This is real tought to drive!

  • @peettheengineer My guess is that he means AFB-mode (If class 186 has AFB-mode). My experience is that the traction control works better in AFB than in manual mode. Could that be correct?

  • @rotsekk I think you're right .I do not know this machine so thoroughly.

    Ask a friend and write.

Please wait for a reply a few days

  • @morfeusz120 All Traxx have AFB mode. The feeling that it works better with AFB comes from the point that most engineer try to reduce the throttle once the locomotive starts to slip and that is with a Traxx locomotive wrong. You can not damage it by leaving the throttel on max traction, even if there is heavy soap(!) on the rail. We tried it many times.

  • @peettheengineer Yes, I agree

  • Very amateurish this massive sanding!

  • @dermischa Thanks

  • Comment removed

  • @dermischa How can you say it's amateurish?

Traxx have only sand to rely on when it get's slippery.

  • @rotsekk I am an engine driver! And i don't need that mass of sand to drive a goods-train! And the rail seems to be dry! Mostly its better to reduce throttle!

  • @dermischa Hi Dermischa,

I am also a engine driver, driving BR 185 on a daily basis in Norway. I counted 29 cars. If each of them weihgts about 80 tons that's a total of 2320 tons. I may be fooled by the angle, but the climb seems quite steep so I am not surprised that the driver had to use a lot of sand.

The big drawback with the Traxx-locos is that when the locomotive senses it's loosing grip, it automatically reduces the power on the the whole boggie, not just a single axle as BR 189 does.

  • @rotsekk Yes the big drawback with the Traxx-locos is that when the locomotive senses it's loosing grip, it automatically reduces the power on the the whole boggie.

This composition weighs 2,800 tons and a long hill and strongly inclined

    Thanks for coments

  • @morfeusz120 This is not true for *your* Traxx. These have single axle control.

  • @rotsekk This is true for *your* Traxx, but not for *their* Traxx. These are single axle control.

  • @peettheengineer Hi,

thank you for the clarification. I had heard rumours about Bombardier planning to make a single axle control version, but thought it was somewhere in the future. Or is it just BR 186 that is made with single axel control?

But with a 2800 ton train and a heavy (What is heavy in Poland btw?) incline I still understand the need for sand :-)

  • @rotsekk Hello again.

It is true that the company Railway Lotos I ordered six diesel locomotives with electric traction gear TRAXX F140 DE are equipped with engines with a capacity of 2,400 kW.

First play as early as April 2011.

Please watch my channel, I will try to show it.

In Poland, the tonnage records designate class66 locomotive.

    I heard a summary of the 5600 T:)))

    Regards Chris

  • @morfeusz120 I saw it allready. the first one is sitting in Kassel, Germany.

  • @morfeusz120 Hi, we considered the diesel version, but found it to weak for our lines.

At the moment we are hiring four Me26/De2700 from Vossloh. These are ex NSB Di6.

We are also discussing hiring Class 66 as an operational reserve.

What are the maximum inclines in Poland?

  • @rotsekk Bombardier will definitly make a new AC Traxx with single axle control. All DC Traxx have already single axle control starting with SBB Re 484 and including all 186 and derivates.

The heaviness of a train is always the relation between train weight and incline. That's the reason why I like to know where the incline is.

  • @peettheengineer Great knowledge from you.

    You Working on a railroad?

    Thank you Peter

  • @peettheengineer Hi, so right now it's just the DC-version that's equipped with single axle control?

Regarding line knowledge: Here in the north we are not allowed to run solo on any lines without having run it first with an instructor. It's part of our training.

We do run on inclines up to 2,5 %. Max tonnage is as low as 700 tons. These inclines are between Kristiansand and Stavanger and Drammen and Alnabru (Oslo),

  • @rotsekk Sounds like Switzerland. Standard wight on Gotthard is 26 o/oo and 650 t train weight.

  • @peettheengineer I didn't know the Gotthard was as steep as 2,6%. That was interesting, thank you :-). 650 tons on 2,6% sounds reasonable compared to our 700 on 2,5

Do you work as an engineer?.

  • Comment removed

  • @peettheengineer Ah, that explains your knowledge :-)

    Nice talking to you :-)

  • @rotsekk hello

Please give me a few days time, I will try to determine the value of what you ask.

I do not work on the railway, but I would love to work as a driver:)

    Thank you for your comments.

    Chris

  • @peettheengineer Hi Peter.

You have a lot of knowledge.

Do you work on the railway?

    Traxx you drive?

  • @morfeusz120 Yes, I do drive Traxx and many other locomotives, too.

  • @peettheengineer please give me a few days time, determining exactly the greatest slope, the tonnage and write.

Big thanks for the enormity of valuable information;)

    Chris

  • @rotsekk The future AC Traxx will also have single axle control. Beside communalities with BR 186 there will be some really new features. Stay tuned, I'm not allowed to say more right now.

  • @peettheengineer Hello.

As for the film Brutt it already was, however, exactly the 2033T on the hill in the wet longer likes to dance traxx tymbardziej that moved from the semaphore SBL. The largest slope in the area is 9 per mille. What is the maximum Brutt for it by the Traxx. 3650T documentation is for the maximum altitude to 8 per mille. The heaviest train as part of a tight left Lotus in May this year, was carried out Maxim, and the hook had gross 4998T .

  • @morfeusz120 Thanks!

  • @peettheengineer The single axle control is a big advantage I assume? The wag-9s here in India(You are probably familiar with them) have had horrendous adhesion issues. A few of the new ones have igbt kits with single axle control and the initial reports have been good.

  • @wapman28 Yes, I'm familiar with WAG-9 since I made them. At that time it was not possible to make a single axle control for a six axle locomotive. The converters would have been too big to fit in the locomotive. Hope that IR refit all of them to the new IGBT design.

  • Gratulacje! dobrze mieć jakaś górkę na oku. taki bombardier to zużywa chyba więcej pisku niż prądu.

  • @analmageddon hihihihihi oj sie usmialem

  • Ekstra uchwycone piaskowanie. 5*****

  • Elegancki powolny przejazd Traxxa z fajnym Rp1 - kciuk w górę

  • No super ci się trafiło:)

    Fajne***

  • Super wideo, elegancko uchwycone piaskowanie ;)

  • Awesome! Fantastic video my friend! Thumbs up!
