Oh, come now, guys. Give them a break. It's a challenging project. But think about all the unrealistic stunts that originated from the comics themselves. For heaven's sake, Tintin's jumped off a speeding train and landed in a river unharmed, he's been in plane crashes, avalanches, gun fights...he's done everything but die.

Exactly how realistic do you want it to be? You've come to the wrong franchise for realism.

Hergé himself said that Tintin was supposed to be the antithesis to the generic superhuman comic/action hero. A normal guy.

Let's wait and see how many absurd stunts, unrealistic feats and dumb one-liners will be in this movie. My guess is a lot.

Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was not a fluke, Spielberg has really lost it. He should stick to doing films like Munich... The Steven Spielberg that made Jaws, Raiders, Jurassic Park, E.T., Saving Private Ryan, is no longer with us.
