Mind if I ask where you got them from? I've been looking at getting a Mangrove as my next snake and was just curious as to where the best place to get them is.
the one i just got is much bigger, i hope he doesnt have any damn eating problems. i came home to mine soaking in his dish this evening, did yours survive?

I know this video is old, but often times, when Mangroves won't eat, it's because they feel vulnerable. If they won't eat when you're around, wait until night time, have ALL the lights in the room turned off, and leave him some f/t food overnight. They are more likely to eat when they're in the dark and when you're not around.

try feeding him at nite or just buy a mouse,frog, or lizard and just put in its tank and just let them be and if the snake is hungry enough it will eat the food
Boiga Dendrophila is a fucking beautiful snake. I live in Sweden and its really hard to get a hold of these snakes. I heard you could get 'em in Germany but it's not worth it. A damn shame. This is a nr1 on the most wanted list for me. Loving the video to. Cheers
Also sometimes when I first catch or buy a new snake it can take 2 weeks to a month before they get acclimated to captivity or their new enclosure and start eating.Good luck I hope this has helped and he starts eating soon.
(contin.)If doesn't work you could get the lizard to bite the fuzzy a few times and that usually works for me (on picky California Mountain Kingsnakes anyway).Another trick I've learned is to break a lizards tail off and rub the broken end all over the fuzzy,then keep the tail in (a bag) the freezer for future scentings.After it eats a few scented,stop scenting and they usually will take the fuzzy.If you get it to take mice don't feed it a lizard again or you might have to start over.
You could also try to scent the mouse with a frog or a lizard.You could buy a frog or lizard and keep them alive until the snake is transfered to rodents and not have to keep buying them.Frogs are easy to scent with because of their moist skin, transfers scent better than a lizard dry skin.Just rub the mouse real good on the frog and its scented.Lizards can be a little trickier.There is three ways I have scented with lizards.Just place the fuzzy in a small air tight container for an hour or two.
