Anyone know how to get an iPod to work with iTunes in a VirtualBox on Ubuntu 10.10? I installed the USB 2.0 extensions; enabled the usb 2.0 controller, and added the iPod filter.......still nothing. I plug my iPod in and it still won't recognize it.

@LinuxShogoki - I don't use either, personally. The 'why' is because these are two common programs that Windows users say they can't live without, in my experience. Setting it up like this, it can aid users with the transition to Linux.
Come to think of it, I can't get Windows XP (virtualbox) to recognize the MS office cd I loaded either? What's up with that?

one question: why? banshee works great, and openoffice even suports more formats!
