I am a huge fan of DH but I think they've done two big irreparable mistakes : killing Edie Britt (who was the funniest one perhaps after Lynnette) and bring those two little pigs(Juanita and Celia). I mean, who wants to see that ? It was funny to have Gaby's life so changed but they could've just made her children unbearable but not that fat ! without being shallow, I don't think it was a good idea.

She took part as the bitchy slut everyone would describe her, but everyone who's in the story would agree that she truly is an important character. She belongs too the others. Imagin a Wistiria Lane without Edie Bricks? . Actelly, Edie is as important, as necessary and as breathtaking as any other housewife.

It's like Susan said, one word is not enough, she was one of a kind.

it showed all those great sides to edie, the vulnerability, the great heart, the strength. but i couldnt help but wonder why the creators did not show us these sides at all, during other episodes. it would have made me love edie even more.

@Ilania the thing is, I think they did, in their own way. Edie in her own way changed the housewives. Her taking of Mike caused Susan to become closer to her and Mike to realize how much he loved her. Her taking of Carlos caused Gaby to realize how lost she was without him. Whether we like it or not, even if they gave her the appearance of a total bitch, she truly changed Wisteria Lane.
