garyowen, you're silly...but now, when i listen to keillor on the radio, i notice that he is singing an awful lot. thanks to you it's starting to annoy me. :o i still like him singing with joe ely, however! and c'mon, guy noir and lake woebegone are still pretty funny!

Gary i may not agree with your opinion about what's happened to Keillor, or with your politics, but i will defend to the death your right to it. Thanks for taking the time to comment. Personally, i really enjoy listening to Keillor sing. In this case, he couldn't have a better duet partner than Joe Ely.
Keilor is 6'7". In high school, GK went out for basketball, tripped over his own sneaker and was cut. the next year tried football but couldn't do a single push-up, was cut.
Joined the Home-ec club and was an instant star, was even able to turn the oven on.
