Here's a funny bit of info revealed from the commentary of the South Park Movie from Matt and Trey.

Did you know that they REALLY hated this trailer? They basically thought it was like a stupid Adam Sandler trailer and actually stole the film and ran out to their car with it, before being confronted by security who informed them that the trailer was property of Paramount and they'd end up arrested if they didn't return it.

But then again, can you blame them? This trailer is so goddamn cheesy.
