wow every complaining about his picking style shut the fuck up.... try picking at that speed... you have to have small movements obviously and if you keep the wrist relaxed as he does it is nothing more than a vibration look at all the great pickers in the world it may look as if their wrist isnt moving at all but sorry bro.. if you go back to the 80's with EVH youll see bigger wrist movements and SLOWER PICKING!!!!

Your picking technique is bad, it is fast, but you will run into some dexterierity problems. Other than that, nice playing :).

You are generally supposed to pick using movement of your wrist, not whole arm. I guess it shouldn't be a problem to adapt to new picking technique, your hands are synchronized greatly.

I don't meant to generalize, I'm sure all people are different, but I'm pretty sure that the ligaments in your elbow weren't meant for the kind of stress you put on them when you spaz your bicep/tricep to move a distance of a milimeter up and down, especially that fast. That's how I almost got tendonitis three times, after playing a long time like that, and then settling back into old habits when correcting myself. Things might be different for you, but still, be careful man.

I don't spaz my arm buddy,  the reason i pick with my arm like that, is explained in another video, i dont tense up in anyway.

Well, my mistake then, I'm pretty sure that you're still locking your wrist to the forearm and using the elbow as a pivot when you alternate pick, but as long as you're not tensing up it shouldn't be bad, or at least I hope not.

I have been putting alot of work into it the last 6 months and it does flow alot more,focusing on my wrist, i tend to use my elbow for skipping strings. thanks for watching the video though buddy
