Plus the amount of radiation thats emitted from those scans. Have you ever gotten an xray at a doctors office? they make you wear a heavy lead vest to protect from radiation yet youre completely exposed at the airport...

It's not an x-ray scanner; it does not use x-rays. Also, the results of full-body scans are interpreted by computer that show results superimposed on a cartoon-like graphic of a human body. The security personnel do not actually see pictures of the naked people anymore - that was an initial version that was quickly replaced.
It's by your own ignorance if you refuse a perfectly harmless scan based on an opinion of how the technology works, which is completely false.

My father urged me to get a job at the TSA and for some reason I did not want to. I applied but I later declined now I know why I went with my gut. I don't like being touched like that.
