She took me to the Dagestani people and they were PROUD to help me. Wouldn't take any money from me,...saying ALLah will reward them. I told the Karachay Lady,... U don't have to go to Masjid to find TRUE ISLAM, it is here among U,... the common, humble people. Now I am back in United States and will never forget these people and their TRUE ISLAM.

I got stuck in Moscow due to Visa problems. The only people that help me were from Dagestan and Karachay. They didn't have much but shared everything with me. Being my first time in Russia and not knowing the language... this was more help than I could say. I went to Masjid in Prospect Mira,... the Karachay lady took me there sure they would give me a warm place to stay , for they didn't have heat. They REFUSED,... she was crying,.. wondering how MUSLIMS could not help a person in need.

Dear friend, The name is mixed Russian and Persian attachment to it i do not know what does Dagh means in Russian but in Farsi (persian) it means hot but STAN is persian when we write something from another language it will be pronounced exactly the way it is originally formed or written changing it to another language will look and sound different,

The Caucasus is a beautiful although a small part of Russia. And Dagestan itself is a small part of the Caucasus with, as was pointed out a number of distinct indigenous Caucasian tribes and a few Turkic tribes. They are good-looking and unveiled, and look and behave like Europeans, not like say Arabs, Pakistanis and Somalis.
