I've been waiting over a year with a defective ford edge with my touch. Ford filmed this demo exactly as the previous demos which hides the lag in the system. Don't get a ford! I know I regret it!

@davidgutnik So i guess that means you didn't watch it all the way through and haven't actually looked in depth to the changes they made. Currently, the system shuts down entirely which makes load-up slow; new version puts it to sleep like a computer so it'll be almost instantly back on upon vehicle startup, just one example; new rendering software to help use the graphics card to it's full potential. Update will be out late March - early April.

I guess there is no reason for me to get a new Ford Edge untill the new Ford My Touch is in it, which looks like it will be a while. They say they can load it to upgrade, but I would not trust them !
