  • Awesome music! I proudly have the track on my iPhone 4!!

  • @whostolecarlosrox plug much? lol

  • @DeckyStrikesBack

Haha I'm just proud to own that thing. It kicks ass!! I love name dropping it haha.

  • Better then the original. We need more zombie movies with balls!! Tallman is so fucking hot!

  • This is good good music - dark... almost feels like southern country... and mean... and I am not talking about the zombies but the living who triumph over the living dead... as if the living aren't any better... just more organized, armed, and ruthless...

  • Man that redhead is smoking hot.... an to top it off with a smoldring synth outro. Perfectamundo.

  • Bone chilling! I expect nothing less from my favorite movie! ^_^

  • Lol i wished they still showed this on tv.Most liveing dead movies now suck

ass nothing can beat the 80's an 90's horror.Long live the 80's an 90's cul-

    ture.

  • 2:02

  • one of the few remakes that actualy worked

  • I helped with the original NOTLD (just a "gofer" kind of job, nothing special) and had a great time. I had heard of the Tony Todd remake but never got around to seeing it. How wonderful to find it here - and in such good quality! Thanks, WygrewPL, you made my year AND brought back some great memories. Cheers! :)

  • very good movie. haven't seen it in years. Been looking for this for a really long time. it's great to find this movie on youtube. thanks.

  • i liked this better than the original but the 3d remake is shit

  • @malc1976 hell yea lol

  • I like 90's 80's synth's if done right. This track is a good example of it being "done right".

  • How did a hot MILF like Helen wind up with a balding Guido like Cooper? I'd like to see that backstory.

  • great remake!!

  • I saw this movie in the theater and thought it was a pretty darn solid remake, especially given that most remakes are usually fairly poor.

  • i remember back in 94' when i was a kid i actually thought these were real pictures that happened and that scarred me then resident evil came out and that scarred the fuck out of me more untill 02' when i finally hit puberty.

  • thanks for sharing!

  • Where Can I DL this song?

  • Awesome

  • this is an amazing theme

  • Like this movie or hate it, that end title theme rocks. Eerie, haunting, and kick-ass to boot. I enjoyed this remake and the closing music is the perfect cap to the reworked finale. When there is no more room in hell? The dead will rock the earth.

  • pause at 0:22 AND JUST LOOK at the beauty of horror...

  • @RomeroFanboy So a old fart with a crow bar an hicks beside him is the beauty of

    horror?

  • @MrCupid1992 yea just looks really creepy and shit love that man...

  • @RomeroFanboy 00:03 in my oppinion is the beauty of horror lol.

  • This movie was pure fun, and the musical scoring was damn straight!

  • pic at :14 pure new wave sexiness.

  • perfect zombie music

  • YEA this song is creepy as fuck but good beat and awesome guitar riffs without a doubt best remake of this movie i think, awesome.

  • out of all the horror movies ive ever seen, the ending of this movie was the only thing that actually creeped me out so badly i coudln't move from the couch. Thanks Joe Bob Briggs!

  • zombie dubstep!

  • Call me old fashioned , but I like how zombies can't run in this movie .

  • @azyaninvasion Me too, a running zombie concept is just too stupid

  • this has such i bone chilling feel to it , give me shivers, tops a great remake

  • Next to original Dawn of the Dead this is my favorite zombie flick of all time!

  • i first saw this backin' 99when i was 10. saw the last 20 miniutes stayin' up late one night. it was the first glimpse of a zombie movie for me. some time afterthat in a similar fashion i saw the tennant scene from dawn. i remember seeing the original later andbeing let down at the way barbara was shown. in this one she kicks total ass. love this movie

  • cooper is awesome but still a total douche :( Loved the movie!

  • The beginning of this movie used to scare me the most

  • That song freaks me out and pumps me up at the same time.

  • KILLER SONG! =)

  • 0:23 is the creepiest

  • lol i totally forgot about cooper.

  • SHE was kool....thanx agin........

  • THE MUSIC KICKS BUTT!

  • This is the creepiest part of the movie. :p

  • I wish this movie had a happy ending for Tony Todd's character,Cooper deserved

to die and also deserved a death that's far more worse than the one he got.

  • Great Film! Lotsa Zombies!! Loved the outcome of "the fam" and what an ending!

(eerie score plays in background while reading the credits,!)

  • i hate mass media

  • I think this is one of the top Of The Dead movies that doesn't get enough love.

  • always thought this was eerie as fuck

  • do you think she hates rednecks or zombies more?

  • think theres someone with the surname wank in the credits

  • always remember this as a kid scared tha shit outa me ha good times

  • Tom Savini the director of this film was asked to do the effects for the original night of the living dead in 1968, but he was dragged off to Vietnam.

  • I always recognize this music immediately. Great tune.

  • If you think this movie was bad then you should see Night of the living dead (2006) - that was really horrible remake.

Actually I loved this film. Patricia Tallman was brilliant. Tony Todd, William Butler and McKee Anderson were awesome as well.

  • Awesome I found it!! I remember hearing this back in 98!

  • Since it is the name of this song? Please

  • the song´s name is "passage to normal"

  • Creepy Synth Song!!!

    Epic movie!!!

  • I love the creepy sounds

  • a lot of my music is inspired by this song. It's so freaky it's nice.

  • Been looking for this for ages! Thanks for sharing!!

  • @shauntbarry i found it in the first 3 minutes of hearing about this movie

  • The guitar look alike of megaman x games on the snes hahaha yeah but this is really good.

  • huh?

  • how u know that

  • where can i find a mp3 of this track? i tried limewire no luck

  • where can i watch this online free?

  • The song is called Passage To Normal, it was made with a Korg M1 synth

  • I love this freaking music.. And the movie is one of my favorites.

  • I always thought this could be great material for a mobb deep song, produced by Havoc or even kanYE west using this sample.

  • i seen this movie when i was 8yrs old and the best horror ever with the eery music

  • Where can I download this in mp3?

  • keepvid then total vid converter

  • this is onw of the best zombie movies i have ever seen, i love this movie

  • The music reminds me of Lord Raptor from Darkstalkers.

  • this music freaked me out as a kid

  • @MrTrent yea it totally did too for me,plus the pictures add to the eeriness, but at the same time i thought it was really epic as well.especially when the solo comes in at 0:47 and just kills the whole song(in a good way of course).great song to end an awesome movie

  • @enginenum1 I agree, altho watching now, the song is fucking creepy and huge sounding, i wish it wasnt midi, and they used real instruments/guitar

  • @MrTrent Lol when i was little i only liked the movie cause of this song.

  • @MrTrent Same here.

  • Wait, why is Ben a zombie? He was in the cellar all the time

  • I think he died from bloodloss then turned

  • beacuse he apparently died down there and, in the movie, when you die you become a zombie

  • I love this song, I've been looking everywhere. Thanks for adding it.

  • Comment removed

  • Any idea what this track is called?

  • i finally got it!!!!!!! its name is "passage to normal", the 11th track ... its just the last minutes of it...hope you can get it..if you dont send me a mssg

  • Where??

  • im uploading it right now... ill send the link in about 5 minutes..

  • Could you send me the Passage To Normal link too?

  • send the link to me too!

  • this rocks

  • always loved the end tune and the grainy pics,

so much that i once did a remix of the tune on a C64. LOL

Original Music is by Paul McCollough

  • barbara is mad fine!

  • Yeah she was a looker!

  • hey, at 2:02 one of the names said 'paul wank'!LOL!

  • Thsi was an alright remake, i still think Dawn of the Dead 2004 was a better remake for that did something different rather then just near shot-to-shot like this movie.

  • Does any one else get the meaning of the camera shutter sound?

  • What?

  • Tom Savini was a combat photographer in Vietnam. The camera shutter taking pictures of these scenes of horror are obviously a reference too it.

Savini stated it was seeing the real gore in Vietnam that influenced his use of it in movies

  • This movie was alright, but I prefer ones where there is atleast some sort of explanation behind the zombie's being there. Like dawn of the dead and such. This one is just like "Ah, zombies..."

  • in the origanal night of the living dead the guy on the T.V. says the zombies are there because of radiation off a fallen satelitte.

  • the 3d remake is pure crap.

  • hell yeah. it was terrible. i found that out by jus seeing the first 20 minutes of it

  • @romaneberle i dont blame u the 3d was sshitty, this one was awesome

  • I thought tom savini directed this one

  • he did

  • i jus seen the 2006 remake of this lol funny stuff

  • Remake of the remake? What are you talking about?

  • yeah there is a remake of this remake and it came out in 2006

  • Ah, 3D one. I stand corrected. Haven't watched it.

  • yea if u have cabel and u have fear net its on there thats were i watched it

  • patrick swayze?

  • The slideshow shows a real message. It doesn't refer to zombies but in the past. I can't explain it though

  • Essa música do final é de arrepiar e ao mesmo tempo empolgante. Excelente versão de "A Noite dos Mortos-Vivos" esta da Golan-Globus.

  • fucken crazy song,love it.

  • this was a great movie!!! i love the part when ben and cooper are fighting over the t.v. and it ends up falling down the stairs lmao funny

  • This song is creepy

  • wow that music is wicked.

  • this movie is awesome i hope they remake it again with more zombies and i want george romero to direct it.. i hope that fagget uwe boll wont interfere again

  • any one else notice how alot of the shots in the montage are actually stills from the 1968 version?

  • yes this movie sure was OK

  • good film thx for the posting

  • George Romero is a master in zombie movies.......this movie reminds me of resident evil..if it took place in raccoon city ..now if George Romero, Stephen king and john carpenter were planning 2 make a movie together it would be a fucking good movie

  • See Creepshow. Written by King and Directed by Romero, it's the next best thing.

  • George at one point was approached to direct the first resident evil movie. but tehre was some problems he it was a nog go..

but he did direct the resident evil 2 vidgeo game commercial in japan. find it here on youtube

  • mabe the resident eveil movies wouldent b as shitty as they are had he directed them

  • Damn right on that one

  • the first one was ok

  • If you want this song just pm me and i'll send you the link!

  • Link me plz!!!!!!!

  • Awsome music at the end, was looking for this, thanks uploader.

  • by the way, unless you are planning on shelling out major dough for an original or even paying someone that will only give you a cdr copy, you might could run a google search.. .i heard there are a few copies floating around.

  • alright people, i have the official rare soundtrack in hand. . . the title of the song is called "passage to normal" & the entire score/sountrack is by Paul McCollough. it is very very hard to find & only about 500 copies (i think) were made.

  • Sounds like Goblin.

  • Does anyone know who performed this song? I have to try to find it, because this song rules. But IMDB doesn't have a soundtrack listing for it.

  • Awesome music all the way through!!

It almost sounds like videogame music when the guitar comes in! Almost like Mega Man X or something! Great images to go with the music too showing humans are almost as savage as the zombies themselves! The whole track's awesome but 0:57 is pretty crazy too! That sounds like Japanese game music!

  • i just had to play mega man after listening to this again xD

  • Aside from the music I don't see the connection :p

You really went out and played it just cuz what I said? LoL well that's not bad. Never hurts to play Mega Man!

  • People! What is the genre of this soundtrack music? It's so fuckin' mystical!!!

  • Its Industrial

  • Really? I was thinkin that Industrial's sound is harder///

  • I liked how this movie was so much like the original. Till i got to the end i was like WTF?!

But, im sure the DVD has an alternate ending or something

  • Damn this movie is still AMAZING!

After watching this,it brought back great memories.

This movie came out 2 days after I was born.

    :)

I seen this movie for the 1st time when I was between 5-10 years old.

I watched it on the top bunk of the bunk beds & my brother was on his computer doing his stuff.

I remember my dad buying this movie for me.

Ever since then I've been in love with zombie related everything.

  • You and me are much alike..I watch this movie when I was ten as well and I absoutley love zombie movies since. This is my fav still..

  • Have you seen Return Of The Living Dead?

It has some cheese but it's MEANT to. To me that's my favorite zombie movie ever. Though Day Of The Dead is also awesome I strongly recommend that (the original from 85, not the piece of shit remake).

  • When I was like 9 I stayed up and watched this movie at like 2am home alone. It was on Showtime and was uncut and shit. Scared the fucking shit out of me.

  • haha same man. I might've been a little older, but I can't believe \this used to scare me lol.

  • one thing that always bothers me.... Why does the black guy at the end turn into a zombie? I dont think he was bitten, just shot

  • Its the radioactive dust that was brought by a meteor that turned recent dead people into zombies. It was explained in the original Night of the living dead movie. But was cut out in the remake. The thing is you only need to die to become a zombie. A bite helps too cause a infection is always lethal and leads to a slow death but the fastest way to become a zombie is just to die. Aslong the brain stays intact at the moment of death or after, the victim will get up moments later as a zombie

  • he died from the gunshot wounds so in the romero vain of movies when you die of any cause you come back

  • so then the radioactive dust must be airborn to reach people all over the place

  • if you listen to the original audio commentary of the first night of the living dead romero states that he was forced to put that in his real reason the zombies wake up is never specified in any of the movies it is all conjecture by the characters, the venus probe is nothing more than a side explanation not any more then then dawn of the dead when people say there is no room in hell so the dead walk , hope that helps

  • Best zombie film!

  • Whats this song called?

  • Passage To Normal / If you need a copy message me

  • av u got a copy of this song mate??

if u av cud u send it to me iv been after this song for years just cnt get it newhere!

  • Send me a copy please!!

  • What's the one where, at the end of the film, a zombie head keeps saying "Brains, brains", and then they torch it with a flamethrower and then he says "Okay, you win, no more brains"?

  • That's Return of the Living Dead Part II.

  • can anyone help me out...

    @ 0:10,

that white rectangle atop the guy's hat...WTF is that thing!!

I've seen this movie dozens of times, and I can't figure it out...

    guesses include:

pack of cigarettes?, a Press pass?, the hat's price tag?, the abridged farmer's almanac?hunting license?...I give up...

  • I think a pack of cigarettes.

  • dumb question but were can i get this song? or what is the name of it?

  • Favorite part 1:24 - 1:35.

Although the whole song is excellent. (I like the end too). Really eerie, feel--with the drivng bass throughout.

  • I just hated that annoying fat mouth little bastard with the New York accent.

  • Favorite Zombie movie with scariest sounds.

  • btw., this movie made Patricia Tallman my dreamgirl.

  • Aye she is actually pretty hot ;)

  • They're coming to get you Barbara!

  • love this song ... one of the best zombie movies

  • @lordfork:

absolutely. and that music after the dramatic film... whoa...! gives me goosebumps right now! love it
