This is good good music - dark... almost feels like southern country... and mean... and I am not talking about the zombies but the living who triumph over the living dead... as if the living aren't any better... just more organized, armed, and ruthless...
I helped with the original NOTLD (just a "gofer" kind of job, nothing special) and had a great time. I had heard of the Tony Todd remake but never got around to seeing it. How wonderful to find it here - and in such good quality! Thanks, WygrewPL, you made my year AND brought back some great memories. Cheers! :)
i remember back in 94' when i was a kid i actually thought these were real pictures that happened and that scarred me then resident evil came out and that scarred the fuck out of me more untill 02' when i finally hit puberty.
Like this movie or hate it, that end title theme rocks. Eerie, haunting, and kick-ass to boot. I enjoyed this remake and the closing music is the perfect cap to the reworked finale. When there is no more room in hell? The dead will rock the earth.
out of all the horror movies ive ever seen, the ending of this movie was the only thing that actually creeped me out so badly i coudln't move from the couch. Thanks Joe Bob Briggs!
i first saw this backin' 99when i was 10. saw the last 20 miniutes stayin' up late one night. it was the first glimpse of a zombie movie for me. some time afterthat in a similar fashion i saw the tennant scene from dawn. i remember seeing the original later andbeing let down at the way barbara was shown. in this one she kicks total ass. love this movie
Tom Savini the director of this film was asked to do the effects for the original night of the living dead in 1968, but he was dragged off to Vietnam.
@MrTrent yea it totally did too for me,plus the pictures add to the eeriness, but at the same time i thought it was really epic as well.especially when the solo comes in at 0:47 and just kills the whole song(in a good way of course).great song to end an awesome movie
i finally got it!!!!!!! its name is "passage to normal", the 11th track ... its just the last minutes of it...hope you can get it..if you dont send me a mssg
Thsi was an alright remake, i still think Dawn of the Dead 2004 was a better remake for that did something different rather then just near shot-to-shot like this movie.
This movie was alright, but I prefer ones where there is atleast some sort of explanation behind the zombie's being there. Like dawn of the dead and such. This one is just like "Ah, zombies..."
this movie is awesome i hope they remake it again with more zombies and i want george romero to direct it.. i hope that fagget uwe boll wont interfere again

by the way, unless you are planning on shelling out major dough for an original or even paying someone that will only give you a cdr copy, you might could run a google search.. .i heard there are a few copies floating around.
alright people, i have the official rare soundtrack in hand. . . the title of the song is called "passage to normal" & the entire score/sountrack is by Paul McCollough. it is very very hard to find & only about 500 copies (i think) were made.
It almost sounds like videogame music when the guitar comes in! Almost like Mega Man X or something! Great images to go with the music too showing humans are almost as savage as the zombies themselves! The whole track's awesome but 0:57 is pretty crazy too! That sounds like Japanese game music!

Its the radioactive dust that was brought by a meteor that turned recent dead people into zombies. It was explained in the original Night of the living dead movie. But was cut out in the remake. The thing is you only need to die to become a zombie. A bite helps too cause a infection is always lethal and leads to a slow death but the fastest way to become a zombie is just to die. Aslong the brain stays intact at the moment of death or after, the victim will get up moments later as a zombie
if you listen to the original audio commentary of the first night of the living dead romero states that he was forced to put that in his real reason the zombies wake up is never specified in any of the movies it is all conjecture by the characters, the venus probe is nothing more than a side explanation not any more then then dawn of the dead when people say there is no room in hell so the dead walk , hope that helps
What's the one where, at the end of the film, a zombie head keeps saying "Brains, brains", and then they torch it with a flamethrower and then he says "Okay, you win, no more brains"?
Awesome music! I proudly have the track on my iPhone 4!!

Tom Savini was a combat photographer in Vietnam. The camera shutter taking pictures of these scenes of horror are obviously a reference too it.
Savini stated it was seeing the real gore in Vietnam that influenced his use of it in movies
